  1. cheers boys. I did have to get on tip toes to wash the ep's roof... most cars look like trucks next to the deck tbh though
  2. Cheers dude - both civics have got Dares on... mine are from the drift range - not sure about Karen's.. they could do with a damn good clean too tbh, but I couldn't be bovvered and didn't even wash them. keep meaning to take them off and give them a proper clean.
  3. Just finished washing Tubbs and Karen's Tixy, so thought that I'd take a few snaps: Used a car shampoo from Aldi that's got carnuba wax in it... really easy to use, just wash and rinse, then dry with a chamois leather.. not as good as polishing, but really pleased with the results for the amount of effort put in Plus great to get 3l of the stuff for about 6 squidaroos 1"£££$££"!!
  4. it looks like a bear... don't worry though coz it looks far away (jeez your cubby hole's cavenous)... if it does come closer though, best bet is to lie in the footwell and play dead... don't try and run or climb a tree coz it'll have you for sure. oh, and store your food away from camp as well
  5. that's a MASSIVE KNOB! is that a load of stickers from MBUK on your mirror? looks pretty cool.
  6. got our eyes on a recaro one for the next stage too... it goes from 9 months to 8 years or something... transformer stylee we were thinking about getting the buggy but it was mega bucks... even with a bit of discount.
  7. haven't tried it in the deck yet to be honest... just in karen's civic with the isofix base... must try it tbh
  8. ebay rules for baby gear... the seat and buggy are about the only things we've bought new and the buggy was from the local argos clearance place... half price
  9. I'm jealous... the little fella's gonna have a better seat than me! the price isn't much different to mothercare / halfords etc and they kick ass on safety tests.... plus they look pretty cool
  10. Been getting a new upgrade for the deck....... but it's not for me it's for Jr_Broon 1"£££$££"!!
  11. cheers guys - I'm really pleased with it now.. I put up with the scraping for a few year but it seemed to be getting worse (especially when there was a passenger in the front... a bi embaressing tbh) 1"£££$££"!!
  12. cheers James - it looks like I was expecting it to when I first got it lowered
  13. 7.4 kgs dr broon thanks sorry noodles, do you saying the m fly wheel is lighter than the teg one? that's gonna take a whole heap of autosol to put right
  14. well, just thought I'd give a wee update... couple of bits and bobs recently. Finally got the spacers on my front koni shocks to lift the eibach springs a bit (thanks S88HON ) after a little modification. It's much better now, the wheels aren't disapearing into the arches anymore, no more rubbing and I can go over speed bumps without the mud flaps scraping off them... it's still a touch lower than the back, but not really noticable like before. I've also been able to soften the shocks because part of the reason for having them so stiff was to try and stop the scrapes. It's a much more enjoyable ride now... less like a go kart which I do miss a bit, but more grownup and still pretty tight. (I'll try and take some pics later). so to celebrate I rescued a new wheel arch liner (and cup holder and door handles to replace the ones where the clips had snapped on my new doors) from an mg at the scrappie. just stuck it on after the F1 (WHAT A RACE!) and christ was if a fook on... the mg one came off easy as... suppose that's what happens whith a few more years of screw welding... that and the fact that my tyre had worn the heads off some of the plastic screws! going to get the ring foglights on over the bank holdays and give her a good old clean
  15. for what it's worth, i took the driver seatbelt latch off an mg in a scrappy at the weekend to replace mine, and the fittings did look the same (and the bolt holding the latch on was shorter than ours so I didn't have to rtake the seat out like I did on mine!!!)
  16. nah... waiting till I get a new clutch still (it's felt like it's been just about to go for about 40k miles!!!) the teg one was 7.5kg... not sure about mb tho.
