Having just been looking into this, I can confirm that the part numbers for B18c4 LMAs from lings are the same as the newer ones advertised on tegiwa etc... 14820-PCB-305. Seems that the teg GSR got them from around 1995/96, so puts it in the same period as our vti

well past the point of selling up and making sensible money decisions. The skunk2 cams are much more aggressive than the itr ones though? I'm keeping the c4 manifold as I like the idea of the change in length of the inlets for lower revs to try and maintain some grunt low down. I do want to get it ported to match the itr throttle body though. Hopefully I've had the socket fixed on the p28 I've got with Iab control on. I had a chip with a p72 basemap on, but still would want to get it properly mapped.

So I think that I know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask anyway. I've got some itr cams to go in my deck, which hasn't driven for 10 months. It's going to be having some work done, including timing belt, which seems like an ideal opportunity to get the cams in, but getting it mapped isn't going to be possible for a little while, and it's going to need to be mot'd before it drives anywhere. Question is, do I get the cams in now, or forget about it until I can get it mapped? What should I expect if I ran the cams on the p9 ecu?

Can vouch for this first hand. I like them, but they're too high for me really.

Yes, I've got new wings, rear arch repair panels, both driver side doors (though they're clean enough) and years ago I got keyed down the passenger side and on the bonnet, so nearly all of it needs some attention. I'm thinking of seeing if I can get a bit of extra purple fleck, but not sure how it'd turn out. Maybe the fresh paint will pop more anyway.

Yeah, think so. I wish that he'd took some photos to show the work he'd done, but I'd been down a couple of times and saw what was going on / parts to fit etc. Kicking myself for not getting the underseal done 10 years ago when it was still fresh. Want to get the suspension arms etc powder coated and poly bushed, but think that'll be when she's getting painted.

This was how it was at first... I had it raised up by about 20 mm at the front with some spacers though.. If you flick through my thread you'll see it.

Welding work is all complete. Inner and outer cills sorted, rust cut out from spare wheel well and repair sections fitted, inner rear arch on driver's side cut out and repaired, underneath cleaned up and undersealed, rear quarter windows refitted to hopefully stop the leak. Next back to the mechanics to get fuel tank and lines, refurbished calipers (and disks and pads) fitted, full service and timing belt done. Then on to the body shop for some fresh paint (when I get her booked in) Some pics of her belly....
