  1. This was how it was at first... I had it raised up by about 20 mm at the front with some spacers though.. If you flick through my thread you'll see it.
  2. Welding work is all complete. Inner and outer cills sorted, rust cut out from spare wheel well and repair sections fitted, inner rear arch on driver's side cut out and repaired, underneath cleaned up and undersealed, rear quarter windows refitted to hopefully stop the leak. Next back to the mechanics to get fuel tank and lines, refurbished calipers (and disks and pads) fitted, full service and timing belt done. Then on to the body shop for some fresh paint (when I get her booked in) Some pics of her belly....
  3. Mine's on eibach springs and koni shocks You're right about Tom though.
  4. Lovely looking deck.. Looks striking in yellow
  5. I've got a leak in my aerodeck boot, but I think that's from the rear windows. I think that in the hatch backs the rear lights can be a way that water can get in.. Be worth checking there.
  6. That's a fair old change! Fair play bud
  7. Happy Christmas everyone, hope that you all had a good day.
  8. That's bobbins... Hope that you get sorted mate. Not many about. I had some rust on mine sorted out by a body about 8 - 10 years ago or something, but it eventually came back.
  9. Years ago I got one from the scrappy but it was from a rover 400/45 or an mg zs. Motor was the same but the wiring needed a bodge as the connector was different. Might be worth getting in touch with Rimmerbros if you get stuck.

  13. Update from the welders... We have got all the sill done on drivers side got half the chassis rail done on drivers side.. We have a new shape fiesta half a shell which we are cutting up Monday and we are going to use the spare wheel well out of that to make repair sections for yours.. We have been wait to see what we need to use off this fiesta shell and we don't néed the wheel well.... We are waiting on repair section getting delivered sometime next week to do the passenger side sill. Slowly coming on, I'm going to get some photos sent over this week.
  14. Ah, sorry. I misread your other post... Read "mine" instead of "mind"... Must learn to read
  15. Not pressed, but mine and the wife's carbon look plates are from http://www.alidrewnumberplates.co.uk/ The website doesn't have much on, but they're on Facebook as well. They're still looking fresh after quite a long time.
  16. I know I'm biased, but I love how well these cars have aged. I don't think they've ever looked dated. Something honda seems to do well. Lovely car park shot
