What oil do you have in it chap? As some of us have found Castrol makes the top end ticky. Possibly your valve clearances need doing, a video would help.

They all look quite nice and as you say a couple with ridiculously low miles but seem a bit pricey my mate bought an immaculate 54 plate NHB for £6800 with reasonably low miles 5yrs ago. For that money I'd much rather get a DC2 or this.

Maz's Silver MB2 Project... SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! :(

This is a tricky area, ideally you need to keep the same rolling radius as original, the original tyre size is 195/55/15 which gives you a sidewall of approx. 4.2inches + 15 inches for tyre, total diameter 19.2in. With the 16s you have the sidewall is approx 3.6in + wheel at 16in total = 19.6in. So with the tyres on the new wheels the sidewall is a fraction over 4 inches for both + 15in for the wheels giving a total of 19 inches which is closer to the original rolling radius and should also have the added effect of bringing the car closer to the black stuff, happy days. With 195/50/15s the sidewall will be approx. 3.8in so a total of 18.8 so should be lower still but the rolling radius will be further from original, I run 195/50's on my fanblade 15's though. Hope that helps and I hope I've got my maths right. -
Race can, love it.

Good wrapping again, bit worried about the tea, coffee, sugar stickers obscuring the dials though.

We used to have an ebay section but as Dave says it can be a bit of a minefield and ripe for abuse of the rules, just makes extra work for the mods and admins.

Nice work, DC2 holders are

Rolling radius isn't massively different so worth trying out first, as Tom said, wider on the rear would be the best bet. -
X2, think it would be criminal if you had to break this after all the work you put in.

I have some blue D1's to sell, not sure what they're worth though, I'll look into it later.

If it wasn't for French cars 70% of mechanics would be out of work.

Govt schemes are always sh1t but as you say it's good experience and if they take you on at the end of the 2 years that'll be good.
-
Top job.

Worth getting and fitting springs to them next year or coilys if you can afford it and sell on the mgzs and shouldn't lose too much. You're always better working than being on the dole, that means dealing with the cnuts at jobcentre and dwp.
-
Bar stewards, MG ZS kit is a damn good upgrade though, just won't be much lower with standard springs. Next year maybe.

Full feature next goal then.

Some nice upgrades chap, definitely get rid of the resonator, you'll notice the vtec and iabs even more. Don't leave it too long.

I don't know but I would've thought it would be easier to find stuff for the coupé than the M's.
-
I'd vote for drop links too.

Just need female company for a roll in the hay and it's a perfect day.

Oh right, interesting. -
Paul (Knight) has mgzs skirts, I think they're all the same, not 100% though.
