  1. Know what your saying, but I spend all week spannering in all weathers, I don't mind tinkering, do filter changes etc, but really can't be arsed to do the trailing arm bushes. On another note, the bolts have arrived
  2. http://civic5.com/forum/topic/10586-k20-turbo-aerodeck-project/ But this has a turbo as well...
  3. Yeah, you've got a murder and raping licence, oops mean class 1 and 2 truck licence now!
  4. Booked the car in for the trailing arm bushes as mine are knocking, they put it up on the ramp, and promptly took it off with the advice, of getting new bolts for the lca and hubs etc, then they would happily tackle it. I wasn't surprised to be honest. And agreed to obtain replacement bolts so should any snap it can be sorted there and then. Popped out to honda, with the list of bolts needed. 2 Lca to hub bolts 2 strut to lca bolts 2 camber control arm to hub bolt 4 trailing arm bush to body bolts 4 toe arm bolt (front most horizontal link) 70quid. Which I'm not fussed about, would rather have and not need than need and not have..
  5. Be careful with towing. Could Soon get in to bother with the law. Regarding weights, and license entitlement. www.transporterhire.co.uk This could be a better option.
  6. Gutted for you, really don't know what else to say
  7. We've done it, two hundred thousand miles! @fyfie5, it was around 153k when I got it.
  8. Right, the car was sorted out last night. Thanks to @Grant for supplying the replacement cat, really appreciate it, I owe you a bacon butty! Photos! This is where the cat snapped off. I'm quite impressed with how clean it is. A look in to a 200k cat, nothing out of the ordinary which is good. Wahay, new cat in and fitted, all OK, happy the exhaust is stainless, as I dare say that sleeve joint would of been an absolute nightmare to split. One fixed and happy car. But in need of a wash.
  9. Been out to pontefract and Leicester this weekend, the exhaust decided to start to blow on the way to pontefract, unable to do anything, I left it, anyway turned off the M18 to get on M180 and as I pulled off the lights to be greeted with an almighty roar. It's now blowing good and proper now. Limped it to work which is on the way home, get under it and find the exhaust is fractured completely off at the front flange on the cat. That explains why it was ear bleeding loud... Oh and it at 199905 miles now, 95 to go...

I'll skip the diesel, looks like a K20 auto is the one I want, I wonder if I could bolt a supercharger on it....
