Bloody hell, my winter tyres, Bridgestone A001, 195/55/15, are £25 quid cheaper than what I paid last year!

Nowt wrong with that, the newest ones are pushing 15 yrs old and going on 12k a year, 180k is average miles, mine is a late X/2000 plate, and is pushing 189k, I did 650 miles in it last weekend!

Would love to do one, but a genuinely don't have any space, if I had a driveway, i'd be on the look out for a front end damaged, drum braked MB.....

I know you can unlock the boot using the key, just wondering if it can work the other way, by stopping the remote central locking working...

Think you can override the central locking on the boot with the key in the lock...

Tbh, I never got round to changing the fluid on mine, as it always looked ok, and didn't smell burnt. It'll take a couple of changes to change all of the gearbox oil, as there's a lot in the valve block, and also they have an external oil cooler running through the bottom of the radiato.

Well at least it isn't a vauxhall, if you want to feel better, search vauxhall M32 gearbox failure, talking catastrophic failure at less than 5yrs old....
