    thats a pain mate, i've got a sticky caliper, but i recon its due to my handbrake being a little too tight

    i'm estimating around £500 to do the guides and change the pistons etc

    i'll be buying brand new B16B pistons, keeping the old rods though. wouldn't want to buy second hand pistons from a so called engine

    running standard C4 pistons, i was told when i was getting it running i should've used B16B pistons to higher the compression. and yes i did rebuild it but i didn't change the valve guides

    cheers, need to change pistons to gain more power and sort the smoking out aswel haha

    So had it mapped yesterday and it made 210bhp so pretty happy with that. Need to change the Pistons and valve guides though and will be much better and less smokey. Here's some pictures from jdm Combe from the weekend. A couole taken by me.

    whats your plans then? wiring tuck looks good mate

    and the Coolant temp fan switch in the water housing, to test the fan to make sure it runs, use a paper clip on the plug for the fan switch and then turn ignition on, your fan should spin, if it doesn't its your fan thats broken.
