  1. I already got a Purple Beaks bar. Thinking about carbon wrapping the bar as I don't think gold and purple would go well together? Yes! The ABS wires are anooying the hell out of me! I will try remove the brackets and tuck them behind the LCA's That's what bumpers are for right?
  2. Loving the Pirates Black and good you sorted out the dizzy
  3. Can't wait to get the new wheels on!! They are sitting there looking at me right now Well today I got the Skunk2 LCA's on which turned out to be a massive pain in the a$$. Both bolts which goes through the sub-frame has snapped. I knew this was going to happen but I didn't expect them to be feckers to get out. Loads of cutting, grinding and drilling lol. But they're on! I will bolt on the Beaks bar when I find the brackets :D And had bit of a b**boo on Friday. Cut a long story short, I was messing around with one of the blokes I work with at the garage. I drove around the corner a tad fast and hit another car. Only a small bump and nothing serious. The headlight clips and bumper clips have broke and obviously some scuffs on the bumper. I will get this sorted ASAP. So yeah, tw@t move, lesson learned..
  4. I was hoping to get the new wheels fitted tomorrow but due to low funds, I'm going to have to wait till next week for some tyres. I found a nice set of brand new Hankook Ventus Prime 2's at a good price, might reserve them
  5. Thanks a lot peeps! I treated my Aerodeck to more stuff this week and..... New wheels!! They are Lenso Project D's 16x7. They are in need of a good clean up. And I will be ordering new rubber on payday
  6. I think the resonator box smooths the air going into the air box. For example, if you blow on the tip of a bottle, it makes a vibration (resonates) That's what the intake resonator stops. But then there are majority of cars which don't have them so... you know what, I'm going to remove mine for the fun of it
  7. Oh I almost forgot to post, I done more polishing the day after. Well, another wash, polish and then wax. She came up absolutely beautiful. No more swirl marks or light scratches and just a nice deep shine. Just such a shame about the matte black panels...
  8. Right.. this is the 3rd time trying to write this comment without jizzing myself over those insanely LUSH wheels!!
  9. Looking good bud. Oh man, a perfect summers car
  10. So much love for this Aerodeck! Nice knob lol
  11. Good stuff! I found that removing the resonator has lost power (don't notice it that much) but maybe it's different between B and D-series engines
  12. Thanks for the comments everyone! I managed to sand down the front VTi-S lip today. God I "HATE" sanding, does my head-in!!! Sounds pretty good, bass is a bit more punchy which is nice. The midrange sounds a bit flat but I think that is due to the speakers itself I filled and smoothed the front wing and rear quarter but it's still not done yet. And it's only matte black paint to cover up the filler until weather gets better Thanks man! Bloody spot on, I will check that link tonight! I still haven't fitted the rear LCA's because I still haven't got the bolts
  13. More updates! Polished the Aerodeck yesterday. Not that it needed one but I was so bored.. If you can remember from a while back, I had no success fitting aftermarket speakers in the rear ceiling because it needed spacers. Also I didn't fancy fitting cheapo Edge speakers I had at the time. Well I picked up used 5.25" Pioneer speakers and used hard polystyrene as spacers. This was my Dads idea and it works a treat. Now I need to tidy it up and find bigger speaker covers
  14. This Deck looks 'all white' mate! Love the mods and effort you're putting into this!
  15. Ah fair enough @KiNK43 I thought it might have been the previous owner changed the boot for a reason
  16. Cheers @Dexter! The window only recently stopped working just after I replaced the head-gasket. There are still loads of annoying niggly things to be fixed on the Deck yet. Yeah I'm not keen on gold but they would stand out nicely on this, if you was looking underneath the car all the time...
  17. Christ mate, you used all those tools just to change the bulbs?! I don't know what wheels you got here but I'm loving them already!!
  18. Good move buying your old girl back! Looks like it has been neglected but doesn't look too bad. Why has it got a silver boot?
  19. Thanks man! Not sure about using silicone grease on the bushes but I sure be using copper greasing the new bolts (when I get them) I still cannot shift the lca bolts though. I had this problem not long after buying the car to put the beaks bar on. They're EG LCA's since I have EG coilovers on
  20. Definitely Skint now since buying these Skunk2 LCA's! Just came through the post today I have also replaced the window regulator. Finally got working windows! No wonder the window didn't hold because the main mechanism was chewed!
  21. I haven't seen one second-hand Meisters yet. Cannot afford them for now anyway...
