Yeah I've heard a lot of good reviews about Evergreen! Also I tried the "Ling long - Greenmax" on a recommendation and they were surprisingly good to say they were £30 a corner fitted!
-
I read somewhere that progressive springs start off with a lower spring rate to the let the car sit lower, then it increases as you put more load on it. Coilovers or matching spring and damper sets are as you say, matched so should be static like OEM.
-
Me either, I'm just guessing but you can see what I'm getting at! Yeah most lowering springs are progressive, so it changes as they compress! I think people should be given more information though.
-
Never heard of them
-
Yes while this may be true, the logical assumption I'm making is that a shorter shock absorber would naturally house a smaller spring I think at the very least it would be a softer spring designed to support less weight. Spring rates are getting so overlooked on this forum...

It's getting to be the longest I've kept a VTEC Honda and left it alone! I guess my sensible head is well and truly on at the minute, plus I just lack any interest in mods at the minute, I'm sure that'll change and I'll ruin the car at some stage

Neo chrome goes well with anything

Needed boost, but got a BGW instead Nice work there Jason! Coming along now! Yes I prefer to be able to drive quickly without removing arch liners, sumps etc! My Type R does the hooning thing nicely without mods, just needs better tyres

Normally I wouldn't entertain a second hand clutch, but I guess you can see it in person and make your own mind up, if it's as new as your mate says it'll probably be alright, if the fluid and/or slave cylinders don't help anyway. -
Yeah 2.5-3mm of tread won't do you any good in the snow really, even brand new budgets would fair better in the snow.

Plus I think EG rear suspension may be shorter than on the M.

Those red halos look awesome! Some very nice mods there.
