  3. I'd be interested to see how you go about it!
  4. So are you using the car again now dude?
  5. Yeah I think it's in that sort of area! If the fan works on all speeds it won't be the resister, either the filter or the motor itself I suspect.
  6. Found it! http://civic5.com/forum/topic/493-dummies-guide-how-to-de-tango-your-headlights/
  7. Good stuff Dave! I have to travel the road my Cupra R was written off on most journeys in the car so I had to get over that one pretty quickly!
  8. Making good progress! Looks more like a car now!
  9. I had used Tom's answer for this as it amused me
  10. Might have to trial and error disconnecting all of the bulbs at first, see if the fuse blows, then plug one back in at a time and checking to see when the fuse blows.
  11. Ah right, yes, heat them up, prise them apart and go crazy inside! There was a how to but I can't find it!
  12. Basically any MB/MC front bumper will as they're all the same apart from the ones Roj pointed out.
  13. Have yours just got that yellowish haze on them? I saw on a video on youtube of someone using toothpaste to clean that up! Found a bit of info here too: http://civic5.com/forum/topic/2523-headlight-retore/
  14. I had to drill them out of mine! Impact driver would have been better but I didn't have one at the time!
  15. The old one must have sounded quite bad then with a hole like that in it!
  16. Down by the handbrake is a small rectangular panel that hides two screws. Then the ones on the side of the centre console itself. I think there might be a few hidden ones behind the radio and possibly the ash tray too but I can't remember 100%.
  17. Sounds like something is shorting out. I think you'll have to start looking at the wiring from the lights and see if you can trace anything to a breakage. Multi meter might be useful.
  18. How far is somewhere like TDi north from you? I think they dabble in B series ECU maps/chips.
  19. It's for all of the above, basically anything you want a quick answer to!
