Meet Roxy! Daves Honda Civic TypeR FN2 (UPDATE: Roxy waving goodbye to Civic5)

Only problem with that Grant is it probably creates a fair bit of work cleaning contamination off the car from the drive up, unless I'm being too sceptical?- 340 replies

I keep saying I should have been born earlier in time, old head on young shoulders here! I'd love to live out my 20's, back in say 50's or 60's America!

I've seen loads of people who've done matte black, probably isn't one you can get wrong without doing it on purpose- 340 replies

Meet Roxy! Daves Honda Civic TypeR FN2 (UPDATE: Roxy waving goodbye to Civic5)

I have found two body shops that we've been happy to use more than once, one is a Honda, Aston Martin, Nissan and Ferrari approved and is expensive but always produces the result you expect. The other is cheaper, still decent and also Honda approved. They are really good because they will give you a courtesy car even if it's a cash job! Not that this information is any good to you given I'm down here and you're way up there. But my point is there must be a good place somewhere up there? The thing I've noticed with both of these places is the guys are old school who want to do the work properly!- 340 replies

My PB MB9 Aerodeck! Engine rebuild in progress

Good excuse to chuck a boosted B18 at it! -
Very nice S14! I understand you not wanting to learn to drive it this time of year, but having said that, it's worth going to an empty car park (out of the way of course) and just playing! Playing is how I taught myself car control, that and the driving experience days I've done (Rally and stunt)!

Doesn't sound good Phil! Mine have about 7mm on the front, no lsd though!

Maz's Silver MB2 Project... SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! :(

Literally the only thing I'm not keen on is the bonnet now after you colour coded the rest of the car. But otherwise a complete transformation from six months ago! -
100% agree with you there, do it properly or not at all.

Really nice pictures! -
It'll be interesting to see how the Type R behaves in the snow, I've heard mixed opinions about them. I'd like to think I can drive in the snow better than the average local idiot though and the tyres all have decent tread too which should help, even if they are Toyo T1R's.

Dont' need gas, just make fire and barbecue them!

Dizzy is pretty common, have a look at the cap and rotor arm first, see what state they are in, you may get away with just those along with plugs and leads. Again, another service item massively overlooked.

Did they drown from it leaking?
