    Yeah clutch is the single most expensive item, dodgy lumpy running will hopefully be traced down to one of the three items I listed, else that'll work out as expensive as the clutch if not more depending. If I'm selling one mod I'll sell them all to be honest. All money is tied up in the holiday otherwise I'd be able to do more than moan Just be glad I haven't sold it yet.

    I keep thinking of other cars, all sorts of cars, but I always come back to looking at EP3's, for starters they're newer and have less problems with water leaks. They don't drop out of VTEC in second gear and I like how they look out of the box, though not perfect, I would want to do a few bits to one but nothing like I've done with the VTi-S, I would hope I'd be able to get one that needs little or no work doing so I can just get in and use it rather than messing about with driving around faults.

    From what you said I get the impression that it does not have ABS.

    Hmmmm not sure if you can get to any of the mechanism from the top, I had a problem with it sticking when I fitted the full leathers into mine! Errrmm your best bet might be to try moving the latch from the back, you may have to hang out of the boot to do it!

    Things that want dealing with are: Clutch (knew about that when I bought the car) Probably need driveshafts soon. Handbrake Sluggish running (Could be Lambda, TPS or MAP). Water leak(s). Aircon (Not a major factor but still something that doesn't work). Not a massive list I know, main thing getting me down about it is the fact I can't really splash out to sort it and because I can't I then feel like I don't want to. When I do decide to stick the boot in it doesn't feel quick even in the right gear at the right time.

    My thoughts are more about the time, it happened at the weekend, would never have been ready for Monday or Tuesday unless a couple of people worked on Sunday which I can't see happening!

    I like the spoiler now, it matches the other colour-coding you've done! Grill looks spot on as is! Just the bonnet looks odd now!
