Also found out why my lights where flickering, alternator belt has started chewing the wire that goes across the front of the car!

If mine was about money I'd have sacked it off before new year Definitely spent more than it's worth in mods and mines hardly had anything! Reckon it's had it's value in TLC too and there's more it needs!

Yeah of course! Just hope it lasts long enough not to need to dip into the holiday spending money! I don't mind taking the hit on the credit card as I've been building that up for a rainy day anyway! Was hoping to replace the drive shafts at the same time too while it's all off.

D2 are meant to be decent! I think pretty much any Civic rears fit but I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on that. I'm sure I read it's DC2 fronts for ours? Just don't buy the £5 ones I need some for mine, just want it setting up back to OEM so I don't kill off the insides of the tyres, should handle well enough!

Ugh, clutch has always been heavy with a low bite point but last few days it's been a dog to get into gear whilst stood still and changes are clunky and horrible...

Can't really say mate, these cars are getting on now so pretty much anything rubber related may want replacing if they haven't been already at some point! Mine is still throwing things at me after I thought I had gotten most of it! Getting fed up as I can't afford to keep doing it right now as I have other priorities so having to drive around the problems at the minute!

I was thinking the same! Idea for the bung, spray the bit you'd see matte black maybe? This thread had me looking at EP3's on Autotrader last night! They're coming down in price!

Intermittent how? General driving? Under braking? Cornering? (Left? Right) Few things I would check, jack the car up and see how much play is in the offending wheel when you wobble it holding at 12 and 6/9 and 3 o'clock positions with your hands. Might be worth taking the wheel off and seeing what state the pads are in.

I hear about rears being too short more than anything. The ones I got were spot on both front and rear.
