  1. Lol yeah that's what I'm thinking. The hangers will have to be removed and remounted. Could probably do it myself but my tig welding skills aren't as good as the guy at the exhaust shop.
  2. That's perfect mate! Thanks No videos in afraid. Was a rush to get away as I'd just done a 12hr shift Wanting to remove mgzs shocks from the mb this weekend and see if I have time to get them on the deck, then it will be hubs and brakes
  3. Exhaust fitted... Will get in touch with my exhaust guy and see if he can extend it for me. Fitting didn't go without any problems the exhaust fell down pulling the O2 sensor wire out off the plug. I don't know what way round the wires go back in the plug! Does anyone have a spare secondary O2 sensor they could take a picture of for me? Apart from that it sounds good!
  4. Thanks guys! Brought my stainless exhaust in with me to work today. Just spoke with the mechanics as I can use the ramp when I finish pics to follow.
  5. Yeah I was looking forward to fitting the headlights as I knew the black would work well. I think the fan blades will look good along with a front lip! They just look naked without them. The exhaust should be ok, seem plenty 1.4 eks running bigger diameter systems.
  6. Cheers mate. It will be getting scrapped unfortunately don't really have the time or space to keep it.
  7. Cheers guys! Got headlights, grille surround, head light washer jet (as one was broken) and also removed the resonator box. Going to see if the dc2 airbox will fit started polishing up the back box too.
  8. Small update... Started stripping bits from te mb6 to fit to the deck. Got exhaust system, headlights, fogs, grille and lip. Lip will need painting and I can't wait to get it on. Been loving driving around in it, and already had our first skip run lol might have to get rid of the fiesta and et another deck haha Random pic Cleaner engine bay (still loads todo!) Full stainless system including decat which will be cleaned up before fitting
  9. Interested in hearing how you et on with the dc2 front shocks! Was looking into it myself and even pmd the member in that thread you linked to,but no reply. I modded my current front forks to allow the front end to sit lower, definitely an improvement as the front did sit a lot higher.
  10. Lol yup! She thinks I should just scrap the mb as is.
  11. Abs fault no18. Thanks for the info!
  12. Quick google search suggests the cat. I have a spare so that's no problem. I can also hear a slight blow from the exhaust and this could also cause the cel code. Need to whip the stainless steel system off the mb and get it on the deck.
  13. Yes 67. So is this the O2 sensors or the car itself? Not sure if there is a sensor in the cat, will have to check. Thanks again
  14. Ok tried ecu and it flashed 6 times pretty slow then 7 times fast. Anyone got a link to te fault codes? Cheers
  15. Excellent! Thanks mate So I just bridge the points and my abs or engine management light will flash? I count how many then refer to a list? My other cars have been obd2 so just plug and reader in and got the code, never done this method before. Cheers
  16. Hi folks, started using the deck this morning. On the way into work the engine management light came on cars still driving the same with know signs of ill running. What's the procedure for checking faults on these? I also have an abs light on and would like to pin point that fault too. Cheers
  17. I did try run mine before with just the belt removed and it was pretty stiff, heard it's not as bad with rack looped? Even better when the rack is converted to a manual one (guide on ek9.org) tempted to try convert my mb6's rack and fit it to the deck as I preferred the feeling that my old escort had with no power steering. Look forward to your updates! I put battery in the boot of my accord. Take plenty pics man! Perhaps a guide for other members?
  18. Nice updates man! Well done on passing your exam! I know the feeling Exhaust looks good, was expecting it to fit a kit further back. Do all the hangers for the back box line up? To et the back box fitting correctly will the have to be moved?along with extending the pipe work?
  19. Lol bolts are still there it's just what they're holding is glued need to start transferring bits from the mb to make this look cooler.
  20. Well iv been tinkering lol remove the offending duck tape that was holding the door handle and wing mirror on. The wing mirror bolts to it's base plate with 3 screws through a cast plate, this had broken I went to halfords and bought the strongest glue they had. Iv since glued and refitted the wing mirror and all seems well the door handle is held in place with 2 m6 bolts and one had broken and someone had tried to silicone it back on I cleaned it all up and attacked it with my new super dooper glue refitted that tonight and it seems to be working well. Been giving the interior a good going over and treated the leather seats and they're starting to look better. Sorry there's no pics but il hopefully get it on the road this weekend and get some pics of it not on the drive lol
  21. Nice updates man!bay looks so much better with the ps removed. What's te steering like with it removed? I fitted a dual bend short shifter and polybushes to my ek4, made such a difference! Need to get one for the deck as it feels pretty sloppy.
