  1. I've kinda fell back in love with it again, not saying that I didn't fall out of love with it though. Anychance I get to look at it now I will haha! still loads to do. I'm tempted to fit the vtis kit even though it's not painted but I'm not sure.
  2. managed to give the bus a quick wash and got a couple of photos. It really needs a good detail! one of my wheels has a stone chip already!
  3. nice touches. what size is the standard front antiroll bar and what car is the 26mm bar from, dc2 I assume?
  4. had to raise the back slightly as it catching all the time. no way I'd be able to have anyone in the back how it was. still don't know if I'd be able to now haha. will get some more pictures tomorrow didn't get chance today. I did manage to get a mg zs 20mm rear anti roll bar for £20 today pretty much on my door step too, result!
  5. well the coilovers and wheels made it on today. they still need some adjustment and the tracking needs doing but hopefully I can do all this tomorrow. I've also changed both washer pumps. no more horrible noise when cleaning the windscreen now lol. only picture I got I'm afraid but it's better than nothing need some better pictures on a level road but you get the idea.
  6. not much of a update really but I've put the standard airbox back on but derestricted it and drilled the box. can stillness vtec but it shouldn't have any heat soak. The old bus has ticked over 100k now and it's still not used any oil. I've managed to get some honda jazz mist jets from a scrap yard for £2! haha great cheap mod. I've also ordered some new washer pumps for the front and rear screen. the front pump is on it's last legs and the rear just doesn't work.
  7. the coilovers aren't for the micra haha. but I am keeping my eyes open for a second hand set to come up for sale
  8. coilovers have arrived not to sure when they'll be on hopefully in a week or two
  9. not much of an update really but I've finally fixed the horn lol I've ordered some coilovers and won a hks mushroom filter on a dc2 intake pipe on ebay for a tenner! will be nice to have abit of induction noise. I have bought myself another car. not a honda but it is jap. the car was cheep it's been stood for a while and needs some bits doing but it bit nothing major. 41k on the clocks 1litre 4 speed! haha I might end up using this daily and have the aerodeck as a project but it's early days yet.
  10. got a few quick pictures on the way home before. doesn't look bad for an old family bus
  11. done a little bit this weekend in the form of new track rod ends which has cured the knocking I had from the front of the car. then I had the rear bumper off, cleaned behind the bumper and had a quick test fit of the rear. had a nightmare with the screws holding the rear mud flaps on. but they wanted be used with the splitter so I've been told so I cut the f**kers off! lol it is really really clean underneath. I will have to underseal it before winter. I think I've found the source of my water leak. the white glue/bond it seems to be coming from that. so that's another job to do! quite like it in black lol
  12. Will have to see what I'm doing pal. I do need to go to atleast one show this year!
  13. I was going to get some before I tried the wheel on but I'm shattered after the week I've had. but I'll get some tomorrow
  14. dropped a bollock ordering some spigot rings I though my hub bore was 54.1 but it's 64.1 so I couldn't really test fit my wheels like I wanted to do. but here's a quick picture of what the wheels look like.
  15. that's be awesome if you have pal. let me know if you end up finding it
  16. well I'm new to the whole aerodeck club really, but I've always know about them and had a soft spot for them and now I've got myself one! I've managed to get myself a rust free vti aerodeck with loads of history and less than 100k on the clocks.. just lol. the engine and box are great very smooth and quite and the aircon even works! there's a knocking on the suspension/steering somewhere, I think its a track rod so those will be changes this weekend. the rear brakes were past it so it's had new disks and pads on the rear. But I'm pretty sure the rear sliders are sticking so that's another job to check over. the sunroof needs a new seal it doesn't let water in but the noise on the motorway! the drivers window also need looking at. it's as if its sitting lower on one end and when you put the window up it drags in the window seal. then it just needs a parcel shelf, a new horn, rear bumper and boot lid could do with some tlc or swapping and the drivers wing could do with being changed if the dent can't be pulled out. not to bad for an bus right? now for the goodies! I've bought a few little bits for it first of all was a vtis kit front and rear skirts and side skirts then I found a mid spoiler on eBay pretty cheep so I bought that right away! the kit does need painting so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get that done. I managed to get a set of genuine floor mats for free and they're pretty mint. Today I've had a new set of wheels delivered in the form of 16x7 rota fighters with brand new yoko tyres. can't wait to see them on! the next step now is coilovers which I'm thinking about ordering after payday. exciting times! I'll leave it there for now. I'll try get some pictures up over the weekend. Dan
  17. do you have a link to the alarm you've used on your car?
  18. I've got the same issue with my aerodeck. it came with no key fobs. I've rang honda but they don't do them anymore. wouldn't the fobs be the same as the ones used on the rover/mg's? might be able to make those work. other than that it might have to be an aftermarket alarm which I think I might end up doing.
  19. love it with those advans do you still have them? what size are they? I use to have a cold set on my old civic coupe. alot of people hated the wheels but I thought they looked awesome!
