  1. it would have needed a fair amount of water to pass through. remove the filter clean and dry it then I'd be removing the spark plugs and checking the leads.. then go from there
  2. here's what state it's in at the minute, its really killed the motivation I had but I won't be beaten!
  3. yeah I had found them, I've messaged to see if they have any for the aerodeck but I've not heard back. I might end up ordering these. but the sills will have to be made, fun and games!
  4. bad news! whilst cleaning up the back end ive found some holes! does anyone know where I can get some repair panels?
  5. it could be the coolant temp sensor, might be worth putting a fresh one in. Can't you slide the mot guy a few quid for a pass?
  6. I was under the impression the p28 is plug and play, no need for a conversion harness. the last mc2 I broke had a chipped p30 ecu and that didn't have a conversion harness
  7. started tidying up a few rust scabs, I'm not looking forward to what I'll find at the back of the car, it's looking pretty scabby! fingers crossed it's solid. once it's all cleaned back and treated it'll be undersealed. Also test fitted the intercooler
  8. No I ment just break the glass as it is then blond the replacement in
  9. cheers pal, I'm really happy with the work the powder coaters do only issue is it's a 2 week turn around! Where are you getting your new subframe bolts from out of interest? the two main bushes in the lower arms have been changed already I'm not sure on the others. They're what I removed from the donor car, most of the bushes had been changed on that.
  10. next time I'm with the civic I'll meaure the glass on mine if you want? I've got the same large style fogs in mine.
  11. I wanted to get the engine back in today but the new sub frame bolts I ordered wasn't right. But there is a few rust scabs that I'm going to get sorted and with the engine out it'll be easier. Put the subframe collars in today, ordered what I'm hoping will be the correct subframe bolts and some polly bush antiroll bar bushes. Had a little issue with the oem fuel rail where it wouldn't sit flush with the inlet but some little rubber bushes sorted that out.
  12. The donor car had what I thought was a stage 4 but I think it might of been a stage 3 because the new clutch is a different design. It might be a little ott but if I ever go for more power it should be up for the job.
  13. the rear bolt holes should be in the rear chassis. I've got a aerodeck vti and they don't come with the rear antiroll bar and I've since put on the mg zs rarb. I do have a spare vti front antiroll bar If you're still looking for one?
  14. you might be best breaking the glass the out then making a template so you can get some perspex ones done?
  15. The starter motor will be cleaned up abit at somepoint, it looks a right old mess!
  16. got a few jobs done and dusted. the engine and gear box has been cleaned and painted, cambelt and water pump done, fly wheel skimmed and stage 4 clutch fitted. Also had a few brackets and bits powder coated, might have the engine back in tomorrow. Has any had any experience with the skunk2 ultra intake manifolds on here?
  17. so work has started, still a long was off but it's a start.
  18. I've got a set of hubs, I'm in Manchester pal
  19. kinda sounds like a misfire under load, take the dizzy cap off and see what that looks like inside. I was planning on replacing the cap and rota arm on mine because I wouldn't be surprised if it's the original and is bound to be worn
  20. looking good! I'm tempted to take the car on a track day only because I've never done one and wouldn't fancy my first seeing in the deck once it's boosted
  21. looks abit more than a minor bump! hope you get it back to good shape soon
  22. Been having trouble up loading pictures but I've managed to sort something out for now. Here's a few more images of the cam cover and I've had another delivery of parts: stage 4 clutch arp flywheel bolts s2000 clutch master clutch slave cylinder input shaft bearing baffle for the sump aem wideband engine mount inserts I may of missed some bits off that. I'm holding to start getting mine stripped down towards the end of the month. Took my spare gearbox to HondaHQ to have the input shaft bearing fitted. The box was checked over and was mint inside. I'm going to paint it whilst it's out, won't be a mint job but it'll look a little bit nicer atleast.
  23. should hopefully get the cover back tomorrow or Wednesday so I'll get some more photos. I'm tempted to get another done and put it on the wall
