am I right in thinking my aerodeck should on come with a fob for the central locking? or do these not have it? I always thought they did have remote locking but I could be wrong. Dan

Hi all this is my VTiS, i've had the car for about 3 years but only just started driving it again after having a lease car for 2 years. was sitting for 2 years being neglected so getting on it now and getting back to its former glory. Got it through the MOT (just) and back driving it everyday and how I've missed the beast. been driving a leon diesel so missed the vtec roar, glad to have it back in my life. I've been having problems with rust on the arches would you believe but that is now being sorted by me (my first body work project). got an exhaust to fit now and just need some lowering springs to give it that stance that I love. anyway here are some pictures and more will follow as the project comes along. any suggestions welcome!!

Rover 400 The Civic Conversion Project I was working on my Impreza, when I decided I was going to get a cheap run-around while I took it off the road to do some work on it. I bought a Rover 400 for £200. I knew nothing about the cars, and had no idea it was even a turbo (As it wasn't listed as one on eBay). It was far too slow to be a turbo, but when I tried to insure it, they insisted it was a turbo model. After some inspection of the engine, I realised it was in fact a turbo, and I was then very interested in getting a bit more power and torque from the engine. I looked at some pictures of modified Rover 400's and they actually look half decent. It was then, I wanted to upgrade some of the body work, such as the facelift MG ZS rear end which has a flush boot lid. Somehow, I discovered that the Rover 400 shared exactly the same chassis as the Honda Civic MB 5 door, and that's when I decided to do a full exterior conversion. When I was able to get my hands on a rolling shell, I figured I'd also swap over the interior. The Rover 400 has a grey and wood effect interior, which is a bit too "grandad-esque" for my liking. As you can see from the image, the interior is exactly the same. Rover 400 Interior: Honda Civic MB Interior: Of course, it wouldn't be right to have an 86bhp car that looked fast, so I'll also be doing some engine tuning. Being that this is a mechanical injection mode, digital tuning such as tuning boxes and remapping is not possible. So I will be upping the fuel intake, fitting an intercooler, and fitting a new model turbo charger. The engine already has SDi injectors capable of increased fueling. I'm probably looking at increasing the power to around 130-150, with tons more torque. I'm picking up the Civic shell on Saturday, so stay tuned for updates.

When I had my Impreza, I did a pretty intense Nexus 7 install. It would be a waste not to be able to use it again. I was wondering if there are any double-din centre consoles out there I can buy?

Hi! Anybody ever tuned a slightly modded MB6? I have stock b18c4 with ITR airbox+CAI and 2.25" catback, decat, Greddy 4-2-1 header. What could be the results with remapped P28 ecu?

My MB2 1.4 auto passed it's test without advisories........yippee Only cost £140.....that's cheap motoring at it's best. Whilst hanging about the garage I had a good look at a Ford Cortina MK1 1500 Super that's being renovated, the bodywork and paint finish was superior to an original fresh from Dagenham......Tom, you'd love all the lovely chrome Happy Gel

My daughter's 1.4 Civic MB is now without any dash lights when the sidelights / side and mains are turned on. She said they went a bit dim at first and now don't come on at all. I have checked the fuse (the 4th one along 7.5A) and it is OK. The next culprit would have been the dimmer control but the car doesn't seem to have one. Any idea what the problem could be? Everything else is working including all side/main/fog/brake lights.

Hi People I think my suspension is on the way out on my Civic sport (MB) 1.4. My near side is creaking like an old rocking chair. Well the car is 16 years old now with 112,000 miles on the clock so i really cant complain. I want to keep her standard but i want to uprate and improve. What are my options ? Does the mb6 steering wheel fit my mb2

Hi! So... Is there any bolts-on part of the engine, that needs maintenance, cleaning after stock 160k miles? On B18c4 engine. Like throttle body, parts on intake manifold etc, those that can get dirty and decrease a bit power, or makes worse fuel economy. I think it would be great, if we get these easy to do maintenances together.

Hi! I would like to order 3 sets of D series driveshafts from J&R, to help friends with order. One for D16y3 MA, other for 1.4s... all of them MA or MB. My question is, all of them the same? Same driveshafts fits for all M with D engine?

d15z8 has two dizzy's, hitachi and lucas. Any difference in cap and rotor? I can't find the lucas cap, always hitachi.

Hi guys, going to be getting rid of my eg and getting a green mb Eco. It's got 76k and one owner from new. What's the spec with these engines? Does this model come with a rear arb? Rear discs? Going to view the car on Thursday with good intentions of buying. Already have a vtis front and rear lip here, some eg suspension and hopefully some 16" buddyclub p1s. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I know alot of people running Meisterr coilovers and they are specific for civic MB6. I saw a thread of someone saying the ride height range from the meisterR crd are not that good if we want to drop like 3cm because the shocks are already 4 or 5 cm shorter thank stock. My question is, what is the max riding height ? Any pictures ? Arent meisterr suppose to have a close max rid height like stock since they are specific ? thanks
