  1. OOOOOO! x-flow Mexico, now theres a car and a half!
  2. wee uppy-datey! Had dawns deck into RJM performance to get new timeing belt fitted. Big thanks to the guys up there for a top job as usual! Also big thanks to Paul (bladerider929) for driving my mb6 up for me while I drove dawns aerodeck (dawn wasnt well enough for the trip) appreciate it mate! Also got a new cv boot kit from honda for it as the N/S one had split, so RJM fitted this too. SOo, not done much to the deck at all during winter. Now springs here though, its had.... 4 brand new Toyo T1R's fitted (love these tyres to bits!) Also gave it it's first mega clean for this year. inside and out, now looks top dollar!
  3. lil update: Not done a thing throughout the winter (appart from above tyres!) so now springs here it was time to get busy. Had both my mb6 and dawns aerodeck up to RJM performance to get new timing belts fitted. Top job by them as always. next up is a service. gave ruby her first good clean of the year. Inside all cleaned out/vaccumed/glass done, exterior mega washed, powerwashed underneath. Gave bodywork a good going over with T-cut to remove all swirls and small scratches (have given up on clay bars..........way too much effort/time to get the same results t-cut gives in a quarter of the time!) Next up, 3 coats of autoglym super resin polish, followed with 3 coats od turtlewax ice polish ( good for all the black bits too ) then finished off with turtlewax original wax to seal it all in. Tyres all dressed, and have to say shes looking top banana! Got an Alpine head unit (with iPod control) on the way to replace the pioneer (which is still perfect, just want something to run the ipod properly) and starting to get the vtis speedlines ready for refurbing. Also priced up a new powerflow backbox for her as I dont like the tailpipe on the current powerflow box, so that may be happening soon! next plans before summer hits us........full leather interior, and lowered.
  4. lol, never got anymore snow that was deep enought to try them john! Think I paid around £60 odd quid a corner for them. Just got the front two, was gonna get the rears next but as no more snow didnt bother lol In the process of getting a full set of toyos for the vtis rims now...got two, two to go woop woop!
  5. I love this mb6, looks stunning! You have been busy with the mods! Love the roof lining, unusual mod and effective! Like the red and white theme with the rocker cover too! Cant believe how stunning the paintwork looks on that!!! sweet!
  6. Does it not just slot straight in Josh? Think it does, and its got a wider front that cover the existing cigar lighter when closed?
  7. Not much been done to ruby, but latest thing is a set of winter boots for her! Found out during the snow that she is totally useless the minute theres anything more than a couple of inches of snow! Just will not go! So finally got her tracking sorted out and managed to find a set of winter tyres! Hoping this sorts out the problems in the snow, though knowing my luck, we won't see any now for the next 3 years!! lol. Did notice a huge improvement in the wet so far, turns in more sharply with these on. Going to start the refurb on the speedlines soon, so will post up pics of them as we go along. Can't wait!
  8. thanks chaps. Cant wait to get them refurbed!!!! But getting snow tyres fitted to the standard vti rims first, should have them next week hopefully. She's a 'mare in the snow, just will not go!
