  1. see! it works lol. Theyve obviously not thought this through at photobucket lol
  2. yeah, clicked on the upgrade (which basically just gives you the account we all had bfore where you could share stuff!) and its over £300! as Tom says, absolute shit! I did a wee test though, and copied the "forums" link from a photo in my album and posted it in the forum......and it worked! So looks like folk might get ripped off if they dont try and reuse the links on the photos theyve already uploaded to it.
  3. Noticed recently that members who have posted images that are hosted on photobucket now have a generic image from photobucket inserted where their own image was (like photos of cars in members project threads have been replaced with an image stating " upgrade to third party hosting"). ive been onto my own photobucket and have used the normal link for posting images in forums and it displays fine? I gather they have changed the format of the links slightly so that previously posted images now dont display? Can you take 5 mins to check photos youve posted from photobucket and if you see the "upgrade to 3rd party" image instead of your own image, try copying your images link (the one for forums) and posting it again to see if it works?
  4. lmao Tom got some advisories on the Vulva's mot too..... Pipe an slippers missing from drivers side incorrectly adjusted flat cap obscuring drivers vision missing caravan at rear not an aerodeck! lmao
  5. lmao its destiny i tell ya! Youre gonna end up with an aerodeck! Glad she got through the mot mate, healthy wee MB that!
  6. probably juzt needs a new cap and rotor. Hopefully its not the resistor pack in the dizzy thats on the way out as thats expensive to buy new (i know from bad experience! lol)
  7. could be anything mate. sounds as though there is fuel getting through (hence the bang) so sounds more electrical? is the eml on?
  8. awesome aerodeck this! love all the wee details too like the custom dohc turbo transfers and the wee "boost" badge behind the mesh. Whats she like to drive and any idea on final figures for power?
  9. Finally congrats mate! Lol and congrats to its past and present owners....awesome car
  10. Loving this! Good work so far mate and nice job filling in the space on the doors where the original mirrors were. I like the idea of the mirros on the wings, deffo not seen that on here before! Agree that the mirrors might be a tad to big though? I take it thats daytime running lights you fitted inside the headlights?
  11. I have an old friend who is a Honda technician, I'll try and get a hold of him to see if he can shed some light on this bud.
  12. No problem at all mate, that's what we're here for. Really thought the reset would have let you get the codes mate. Its a really strange fault and not one we've come across before. I can't think of any other way to get to the bottom of the abs problem, unless any other members have any ideas? Not sure if a failed abs ring would maybe throw this fault, possibly shorting out the abs system? Not sure as ive only ever had abs sensors failing before. Last resort will be to take it into honda and see if they can find the fault, although they'll probably charge a lot so bear that in mind.
  13. Resetting it wont necessarily put the abs light off mate, but what it will hopefully do is allow you to get the code as it aint letting you at the moment. I know both these faults are to do with the brakes, but id be inclined to treat them as two separate faults. Might make tracing the problem easier.
  14. bloody hell that mustve been a shock! still, suppose its a good thing in a way as that repair wouldnt have lasted and at leaxt now you know she's good for years to come. And safer!
  15. Do you know if the abs is still working even with the light on? Really strange one this mate.
  16. might be worth disconnecting the battery for a bit, reset the ecu (theres a guide for this too) to see if it will let you pull the code for the fault? Worst case scenario would be that the main abs unit has failed, although they tend to be pretty reliable. Has to be something stopping you getting the codes so try the ecu reset first.
  17. The first post says the handbrake light is on all the time mate, and also the abs light meaning there are two separate faults. So there does appear to be a problem somewhere with either the handbrake switch or possibly the wiring at the swtich or at the fluid resevoir cap. It might also be the sensor for the brake fluis thats gone. The issues with the handbrake light fault should be easy enough to sort out be process of elimination. The abs fault however is going to be more complicated to resolve.
  18. bloody hell @vti vroom ! thats the worst ive seen on a civic m mate! Fair play to you for getting it all repaired properly though.
