I prefer the head light mod with the orange left in. -
I would say pads are low and maybe a sticky calliper which is why you here it when pulling away. But without being there hard to say

Heat is prob from engine cat exhaust etc. plus sun through the windscreen heats my gear knob up to the point it's hard to touch . If everything is normal why bother trying to cause a problem which ain't there. Oil change can only do it good if it ain't been done for awhile then yes change it

Power difference is worth it thou lol -
I thought red was ignition and yellow was memory. Either way it's those two wires just put a live tester on them that will tell you which is which

I think it's more to do with getting a one from a early teg and not a late one as the plugs are different

B20 block with b18 teg head is pretty much best combo. I would stay b series if it was me

You brought a fo0ked sensor. Have you tried the ecu reset?

As above should be straight swop over as long as your Swopping it for a door that has power windows central locking etc.
