Our lca is eg length. But has ek narrow bushing for the shock absorber. So ek shocks fit perfectly. But eg shocks have a wider bottom fork. So you can still use them they will just need packing out with some m10 washers. Generally speaking dc2 has a different set up. With a completely different lca and the bush is located on the shock absorber itself.

HaHa love it. So that beat up b16 has took 331whp all this time? Sweet

Was wounded. I put the mb6 Hub's onto my eg. Then put the same 16x7 et40 wheels on. And serious they come up flush with the wheel arch on the eg and scrubbed like mad But more relevant to you.. they were perfect fit on mb6.
-
I think you will need some negative camber or a roll for 8j et38. I used to have 16x7 et40 and they didn't rub but literally a couple of mm from arch

@Viltor Yes as long as the Rev limit is kept near stock it will be fine. But I wouldnt recommend installing IM and cams until you have your ecu and are going to get the car tuned. Will save disappointment. Ya dont want to spend all that and then have flat spots and an inefficient motor. And also for safety. Wouldnt risk it not running right. Make sure you reset the valve clearness as well after fitting cams.

The stock intake manifold is quite restrictive in its design narrow runners and the whole butterfly assemble is interfering. I think to see a decent gain from ITR cams you would want a decent aftermarket IM. An ITR throttle body is larger that c4s and obviously ITR has short single runner IM.

Sounds like something I'll be jealous of that's for sure. Will keep tuned in

Don't think you'd loose power as such. You would likely end up with a flat spot somewhere in the Rev range where fueling allows for the iab butterflies on the stock intake manifold. And yes you can install the cams onto the standard valve springs. You will simply need to keep the Rev limit conservative. Say around 8500rpm maximum. If you were to install dual valve springs on the exhaust side also. You could happily raise the Rev limit to say 9000rpm. And make a few more hp.

Haha classy

Ah mate I'd love to see it up and running. If you got time after fitting. Gimme a shout and you can come and show it off!!

amended the fag lighter wiring for usb chargers

Went to see how it's going today. Looks good. Slow progress and everything's a mess. But I'm positive it's gonna look awesome. Can't make an omelette without breaking eggs hey. I also want to install gauges. Not really anywhere decent to fit them in an eg. So managed to get my hands on a different centre console. Think it's usdm. This will allow me to relocate my stereo lower. And fit gauges up top. Also ditched the ashtray in favour of phone charger and usb/aux in for the headunit

There's not A lot about. Mongoose do one. There was some eBay specials not sure if there still available??
-
Nice man.. pretty sure toyo are eBay crap. So probs no better than what you've got dude. Wouldn't waste the money. Just give yours a whirl. Should expect a tiny bit of play. Sure it'll be fine once got oil flowing through it.
-
Progress being made.. we have wobble free doors and rear quarters.. which is nice

Facefook ain't for me either man. Purely use it buying car bits. Even then its a chore and 94% of people mess about or are just plain nobs.

Yeah meant strongflex well they've gone downhill and the after looking at there website there prices have gone uphill. Jeez.

Or just ring em. Rich's labour rates are very fair. Cpl want 3500 just to fit your stuff??? Wtf. Racetech charge about 3k drive in and drive out from stock to turbo. Everything included.
