s**t man. That looks good.

What engine we talking about? B18? I've never had an issue lining it up if so. You can see straight down it standing at the front of the vehicle looking down toward pulley. The ECU can compensate to small amounts. But ultimately should be set mechanically to allow the engine to start. And also to give the ECU a base to work off.
-
194k miles and still sounds smoother than either of my b18s
-
Looks correct yeah. Would not be easier and cost effective to have a body shop repair the sill with plate???
-
Don't know but i have the same in my watch list. They do other style manifolds aswell and the photos look really good don't they.
-
I would suggest giving it 100 miles of driving. Allow the new fluid to penetrate into the gear hubs and synchros. Then you will know if it has improved any.
-
Tour going about it the right way. A decent timing light will make the job easier. Some lights just don't show up well. 16 degrees +/-2 is usual. If you try advance slightly the ECU will just try correct it soon as you pull the link out of the 2 pin connector.

Beautiful mate love these.

@phil1975 ooh mate that looks jizzmatic excuse my french

@drbroon Ermmm torque mounts and the rear mount were new when i put engine in. So not very old. From tegiwa though so probably crap. I'm happy with the compromise now anyway. I can live with some vibration just not so much that I can't even hear my 100db exhaust. @Chandler pics are further uo the page. Mounts were 125 quid. As for grade.. Don't know the specifics but there flipping hard. So I'm just using the rear mount on the subframe now

Got me new window trims from Honda finally tho. Was really letting the car down flappy trim and a bit of temporary tape. BTW PayPal refunded me from that joker Ben Watton.
-
Drove the car today for a good journey and no way can I live with it. Seriously ridiculous. Never expected them to be this bad. So tonight the side mounts have come off. And I've left the rear in place. Have to say. Nice happy medium. Still vibrates a fair bit. Mostly slowing down 2k rpm ish. But engine is much more stable than all OEM mounts. So yeah I'm happy. I think.

All good stuff grant gonna be sweet this one. Beast! Yo what's your intake pipe?? I fancy modding an airbox. Need to get a pipe.
-
Alright well ill give em a go briefly. @10000rpm thanks but not sure my pockets are deep enough for that. I've had carbon bonnet in my watchlist for months now.
-
Well last night I put all new bolts in. In the back of my mind i didn't like that the new mounts are thicker and I used the old bolts so not in as far as should be. So put 10mm longer bolts in. I will go for a drive tonight then see ifbi can live with it.. Surely gonna ultimately rattle all the interior loose permanently tho.
-
I'd be surprised if these loosen up. Solid poly but I am gonna try using just the rear mount and bin off the sides put stock side mounts on. Purely because. The rear must take the most abuse. So hopefully that will leave me with a compromise.

Well. Wouldnt go that far its better than nothing. Might secure it into the arm rest that would help. At the minute it just pushes In so can still store things.
-
I guess so. Oh well mods don't always work as planned. Shame they really finish the bay off
-
@grant.feels amazing mate. Gear shifts are super tight. And touch the gas your off. But yeah I can't live with it shaking so much. Rediculous
