  1. Cool. Been really impressed with delivery times tbh.
  2. Really good work done by Joe 👍
  3. Been fine for me so far (touch wood) . Lots of folk on here have used them over the years. The vti-s differences are cosmetic only 👍
  4. Yeah my passenger side one went a few years ago under power pulling out of a petrol station in busy traffic. I've just had to have the driver side one done as the joint was goosed. Used j&r both times.
  5. Post changed, user blocked. Gold coins for sale indeed.... 🤦
  6. I had some skunk lcas to go in when I got the bushes swapped, but they're were all done by the garage that was doing the resto. Good Jake came along with the answer above
  7. Deleted... Been getting a few spams of late. Who in their right mind would click a link to order blue pills from Moscow 😂
  8. Not heard of that before. Is the rest of the suspension performing as it should?
  9. Can't disagree with what you've said there really about the rainsport. They are better in the wet, but at least they're quite progressive in the way they start to lose grip and give you plenty of warning. I can well imagine there's much better dry tyres though. We've recently tried some toyos on the wife's accord and they're horrid compared to the rainsport. They're supposed to be wet weather tyres as well but they're nowhere near the uniroyals
  10. Good work on snapping it up there mate. At least it should give you less bother than the mini 🤞 Hondas generally seem to hold their value (in fact second hand cars generally seem to now...)
  11. Nice looking civic @Dave I keep having a little browse at those type s' My mate had one a while back and it was a nice motor.
  12. Hey bud, glad you're getting the old girl back in the road. I'm a big fan of uniroyal rain sports. I know you're only going to be out in the dry, but you never know what's coming, and they're fantastic in the wet. Good in the dry too. Bit soft and wear quickly, but I've used them for years now.
  13. Have to agree with Adz about it seeming like a bad idea to share cooling duties with the engine. Have you looked into seeing if there's an upgrade? These ones look like they're more chunky than the standard? (but can't remember as it's so long since I've had air con on my car). You'll have to make sure they'll fit though. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fsg-test-11.slatic.net%2Fp%2F16fc733d09b5b70b4fcdabea3a96ad09.png&tbnid=YSSntC5baq6DZM&vet=1&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lazada.com.ph%2Fproducts%2Fcivic-laminated-evaporator-esiekegvtilxicrv-1st-honda-car-aircon-parts-i112056049.html&docid=JqTek4HNHjZmzM&w=1080&h=1080&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim%2Fm4%2F2&kgs=8ab1c69962d3ba71&shem=abme%2Ctrie#vhid=YSSntC5baq6DZM&vssid=mosaic https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173380831207?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fdbxb7XvSMO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=VPkI41u3Sse&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE

    ABS Problem

Strange, that description doesn't seem to match any of the faults in the workshop manual. It even sounds like a different type of system? I just googled the probable cause you quoted, and the first result was about a 97 accord https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/abs-code-3231043/ From the workshop manual it sounds like the accumulator is part of the abs module, rather than a Separate part. Try downloading the workshop manual from the downloads section, and have a look in section 19-B, there's a description of the abs system for the m civics, and a diagnostic fault finding flowchart, which should help on down the problem.

    ABS Problem

As far as I know it is, it used to be a thread that got turned into a guide. Every time I've had an abs fault it's been a sensor, and sometimes they are intermittent and the faults come and go. If the code you're getting is 18, then that would be a wheel sensor according to this guide... What is the other guide telling you?
  16. It's a nice looking civic either way. Nightmare! Just as well you had a spare engine 😁

    ABS Problem

Abs is a bit of a nightmare on these cars. @Dave had loads of fun trying to track down a problem on his - can't quite remember the symptoms or the fix though. Just wondering, is the Spanish manual for the m civics? Not sure if the codes are different for m's compared to other hondas at the time.
  18. If you want to try and get a bit more comfort about part numbers, might be worth looking here to pin down your model... https://www.parts-honda.uk/honda-cars/CIVIC-AERODECK These civics are a bit odd when it comes to parts unfortunately. As far as the brakes goes, the calipers are a bit of a weak point as they do tend to seize, though you can pick them up relatively cheaply on ebay now.
  19. Might have to give that a try myself... Mine vibrates at motorway speed, and I've got stiff bushings too
  20. Hi George, welcome along. That's a nice looking MA I don't think I've seen one that colour before.. Really like it.
  21. Edit... Just found that speed factory do one but it's about 150 notes. https://www.tegiwa.com/products/speedfactory-racing-obd1-obd2a-ecu-jumper-harness
  22. Finally made a bit of progress with an ecu.. Found a p28 with hondata s300 already installed on ebay for a few hundred quid and snapped it up. Didn't clock though at the time that it's been adapted (by hondata by the look of it) to have. Obd2a connectors on it 🤦 Of course, it should look like this.. Now I don't seem to be able to find a conversion harness the right way around, probably because noone would have a need to fit an odb2 ecu into an odb1 car... So I'm back to needing someone to do some electronic wizardry with a soldering iron, but this time to swap the connector from my dead p28 to this new one. 🤔
