  1. I'm guessing that's your own work again? Looks nice mate
  2. Good stuff! Love them, and glad you got them safe. I bought some a few years back and one of them had snapped when it arrived... Gutted. Got sorted out okay, but a real shame that it was a set that doesn't exist anymore.
  3. Yeah, definitely. I used quite a lot of random zs/400 fixings and clips etc when mine was getting rebuilt.. Some parts were a gamble that didn't pay off though - the fuel level sender was too long for the tank on my aerodeck. I reckon in future we'll be relying on rover parts (or pattern parts for rovers) more and more to keep these hondas going as there seems to be a good level of support for older British cars, and the M civics aren't covered as well as more international civics.
  4. Wowsers.. Been having a proper rest up! Nice spot for a rest though.. Got some garage envy there mate
  5. You've been busy there mate.. Nice one. Looks clean the bit you've done. I bet that's put your mind at rest to know it's just surface rust. Hope you finally get the abs sorted though.. That's been a pain ey. Those wheel nuts do look better with the standard wheels.
  6. I'm thinking of going for the b6 with my eibach springs... The oem spec shocks aren't very good with them.. I think it's the opposite problem you have in that the standard shocks are too compressed with the eibach springs.
  7. Looks like a nice smart deck does that. I've got the MG skirts on mine as well, really like the look of them now.
  8. Wow, what a lot of work, and what a read. Really like what you've done with the old girl. Nice job with the interior as well.. The wheel retrim looks spot on. Can't believe you made a DIY vtec addon for the ecu... That's mad!
  9. Lots of folk over the years have gone for power flow exhausts - I'm on top my second back box from them (from a different installer) and pretty happy with it.
  10. Looks tidy mate, pretty low miles too. What are your plans?
  11. Yeah, does sit better now mate. See it looks quite well sealed up on the pics, is it like that all underneath?

    Type r

Getting it mapped to suit your current setup would probably be worth looking into (though don't think the p73 can be chipped?) .. Not sure how the skunk cams compare to the itr ones in terms of behaviour so could get done gains from that. Didn't realise you could run a p73 on a b18c4 - guess that's with you swapping the inlet mani as well? How do you find it? Any issues?

I'm sure that I've seen a comparison somewhere on the differences with the dc2 engine, but can't remember where... Might have just been a reply to a comment or something - I'm sure there'll be something online comparing the gsr engine to a jdm dc2 one though. Off the top of my head though you're looking at pistons, crankshaft, better flowing head (I'm sure that the type r ones were hand finished), valve springs, and probably more. I'd have said a custom map as well to bake sure it's working best for your setup Jake @KiNK43 is your man here though as he just built a beast of an engine even without the turbo.
  14. Looks great mate. Nice to see a deck this colour.. Been a while since there's been one here.
  15. Looks mint. Proper sleeper! Was reading about the engine yesterday - sounds like a clever bit of kit and a bit of a beast. Bet you can surprise a few folk with that Interior looks cool.. Is it just me or does the wheel look like the mb one. I hadn't spotted that the top part of the radio was climate control - thought that whole unit would be able to swap out. It's always a good opportunity to have some old tunes on though - one reason I keep my minidisc
  16. Looks good mate - sits really nice. Interior looks pretty cool as well - Honda and Toyota definitely used to have the same design approach for the interior ey. Looks like a nice easy double din option though compared to what Mr Honda normally serves up. Also, are they patterned floor mats? Never seen that before.
  17. Looks tidy mate. The work to the suspension will definitely make a difference - it'll feel like a new car!
  18. Don't blame you to be fair mate, it's like that place that first had a bodge at welding Tubs up.. Was foaming, but knew that trying to take it further with them would just cause grief and wind me up more. Sometimes it's best to just move on. Lol about the bird! Has it stopped it's crapping with the other mirrors on?
