  1. Hmmm looks like good stuff (just watched a vid on you tube) Think I'll give it a shot... Worth a try before going back to tws. Even if it's just for cleaning.. Bit disappointed by the muc off really (the bike cleaner does the biz though)
  2. That is a cracking picture
  3. I've got some muc-off stuff that I've had a few years. I've also got some halfords own brand stuff from yonks ago that i used last year coz i couldn't find the muc off. I did snow foam them this year after using the muc off (that's what is in the pics). Then use rim wax which is lush.
  4. Ha.. That fog light is bonkers! It'd be like an alien invasion 👽
  5. Wow. Just caught up on the last few months work and we'll done mate. Looking very tidy.
  6. Nice one! I had 350 litres of compost in the boot (seats still up) last night and did have the occasional rub on corners. Sometimes the wheel touched the arch as well
  7. Ooo..Never thought of clay. Tried tcut, glass polish, even metal polish. Even had to move the clay bar box out of the way a few times as i reached for the next product
  8. Just watched it last night and managed to avoid the result or anything all week. Not a bad opener... Maclaren honda...
  9. Wish it was that purple all the time... Was wet when i was washing it and the purple was immense... Had to take a snap.
  10. Cheers everyone. It's a bummer about the wheel.. I washed them before putting them away when they were in the car, but never got round to doing it properly and waxing them. The one that's got the problem was the one with the seized caliper, so it's probably loads of brake crap sick in the laquer. I've tried polishing it out with various things, and it's better than it was. Gong to take it to the place that refurbed them and see what they think.
  11. Even the difference between the dc2 flywheel and standard M one is noticeable.... even if it is just 700g, that's a lot of rotational mass to loose. good thing about the DC2 one is you don't have drivability issues. don't have a definate weight for the standard M flywheel, but I weighed my DC2 one before it was installed and it was around 7.5kg. can't remeber if I've still got the old one to weigh.
  12. Love the extra road feel from 17s too.. Sorry for the thread hijack jake.
  13. Yeah, don't get me wrong.. I love the look of my 17 inchers (might be going back on this weekend) but would like to try a nice light set of 16s to see how they feel. Always remember reading a review of the dc2 years ago that said something along the lines of don't be tempted to try bigger wheels than the 16s because you'll ruin the handling.
  14. Think that 16s will be the best for handling to be fair. I know that the 15s feel much more perky for acceleration, but the 17s feel much better for grip. If i was buying some new wheels I'd probably go for 16s. I just meant that decks carry 17s off better than hatches.
  15. The decks can carry 17s off better i reckon. With a drop anyhoo
  16. Haven't done any warm starts yet, but it was lashing it down on the way back from the garage and sometimes it would do it when there was a lot of standing water on the roads. So far so good
  17. from the part numbers on mine it also seems to be the same part for the CRX, civic '92 onwards & MG ZR! yup, new sensor in there too. I did give it a damn good soaking with plus gas the other weekend.. might have helped a wee bit, but I'm sure that the massive blowtorch had more say in the matter
  18. After 2 hours got both jobs done for £15 Bargain! They had a bit of a mare getting the exhaust on though... Somehow one of the bolts didn't line up. Pleased i decided not to try to do it on my back on the drive
