  1. that's the same one I found... The other ones were about butchering brackets etc specifically for the ring ones.
  2. Sounds good... Find it great that things like that can be mapped in
  3. Aw man, found a thread with links to the how to's on but they're not working. @Dave do you know if they're gone?
  4. There's a how to here but I don't think this was the ring ones
  5. If I remember, they were ring illuminators. Halfords used to sell them. Generally people used them to replace the oem ones because they fitted in the original fog light covers.. I'm sure there's a how to somewhere. I remember a few people getting a particular one off ebay, but no clue what that one was.
  6. That should make stopping easier. What are you thinking about getting done to the map?
  7. Just re-read that and chuckled.... If @UnicyclingTom or @Krzys saw that it would well have been amended by the editor...
  8. Love the look of fresh disks.. Wish they always looked like that. I know what you mean about wanting to get cracking with stuff.. I'm itching to get loads of little jobs done, but I've been laid up with some weird virus for the last couple of weeks and it's properly doing my head in.

  10. I don't have a press, and I'm many miles from Birmingham, but I do know that @KiNK43 has burned bushes out before if that helps?
  11. Top idea, and I'll have to have a ponder. Arches and sills seems to be the areas most prone to rusting. Age of the cars now means that bushes will all be in various stages of falling to bits. Sticky handbrake is another woe that we're all far too familiar with. Engine wise I can't think of anything so long as regular oil changes have been done?
  12. Quite a journey ey! Looks nice and moody now
  13. Cheeky pic from takeaway collection duties... So glad to be back in an M
  14. Hope that fixes it mate. I've been keeping an eye on the spare wheel well in mine, and so far so good, and that's with a bit of rain and couple of rinses at the jet wash (no brushes mind you...)
  15. Number 3 on here? https://www.lingshondaparts.com/partscatalog/catalog/listing/catalog/hondacars/modelid/7745/block/17S1E01/blockref/B__1721/ I notice this notes it's for right hand drive... Might be different for left hand.
  16. Someone else might be able to confirm, but you might be able to look at MG ZS or rover 400 as well, as I think that they have 4x100 wheels. Like I say, hopefully someone can confirm.
  17. Thanks Gerry. Those bits that you sent me are very close to the top of the list of wee jobs to do
  18. Crap, so sorry to hear about your dad mate. Glad you got the rta bushes sorted - bet that's made a big difference!
  19. Overall I'm over the moon.. It drives so tight and firm.. Seems like I needn't have worried about using OEM spec shocks. All of the bracing and bushes have certainly done the job (still got the rear strut brace to fit as well) but it's like an estate go kart Couple of little gremlins to get sorted - screen wash isn't working - can hear the pump going, but no squirt. There's the issue with the horn sounding when you turn the rear fog on (but not if the fronts already on), and also the light reminder alarm makes an odd noise sometimes.. Seems like there's some oddness going on with the wiring.
  20. Proud owner of a taxed and MOT'd Mc2 back in my grubby little paws
