Yeah, for some reason I'd always wanted to stick with the vti lip as that was how tubs had always been, but now that the MG skirts are on, they're a bit lower than the front which doesn't look quite right.... Plus.... I might already have a VTIS lip in my possession already.... Just in case...

I'm sure that @robali123 did up above?

Quick waterless clean this morning, so did a bit of whoring on the way home from an errand. Ignore the bit of bumper on the last pic that I missed cleaning... I need to get some smart repairs done to tidy up a few bits where the garage didn't touch. I also need to get it in for 4 wheel alignment after all of the suspension changes. Also got to get the back box sorted out as it was patched up to get through the MOT. also, those mg skirts are making me come round to the idea of a vtis front lip...

@noodels were you running an skunk intake mani with the standard ecu for a bit? I seem to remember that you had issues with the cams using the P9?
-
Nice one - let us know how you get on with them after you've used them a bit. Been thinking about an LED upgrade as well.

Minty fresh

that's the same one I found... The other ones were about butchering brackets etc specifically for the ring ones.
-
Sounds good... Find it great that things like that can be mapped in
-
Aw man, found a thread with links to the how to's on but they're not working. @Dave do you know if they're gone?
-
There's a how to here but I don't think this was the ring ones
-
If I remember, they were ring illuminators. Halfords used to sell them. Generally people used them to replace the oem ones because they fitted in the original fog light covers.. I'm sure there's a how to somewhere. I remember a few people getting a particular one off ebay, but no clue what that one was.

That should make stopping easier. What are you thinking about getting done to the map?
-
Just re-read that and chuckled.... If @UnicyclingTom or @Krzys saw that it would well have been amended by the editor...

Love the look of fresh disks.. Wish they always looked like that. I know what you mean about wanting to get cracking with stuff.. I'm itching to get loads of little jobs done, but I've been laid up with some weird virus for the last couple of weeks and it's properly doing my head in.

I don't have a press, and I'm many miles from Birmingham, but I do know that @KiNK43 has burned bushes out before if that helps?
-
They look well smart. Nice one

Going to update our Civic M buyers guide....need your thoughts and input
dr_broon replied to Dave's topic in Chat Lounge
Top idea, and I'll have to have a ponder. Arches and sills seems to be the areas most prone to rusting. Age of the cars now means that bushes will all be in various stages of falling to bits. Sticky handbrake is another woe that we're all far too familiar with. Engine wise I can't think of anything so long as regular oil changes have been done? -
Quite a journey ey! Looks nice and moody now

Dawns Civic Aerodeck Updated 28/5/13
dr_broon replied to crazzzydawn's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Hope that fixes it mate. I've been keeping an eye on the spare wheel well in mine, and so far so good, and that's with a bit of rain and couple of rinses at the jet wash (no brushes mind you...)- 924 replies

Number 3 on here? https://www.lingshondaparts.com/partscatalog/catalog/listing/catalog/hondacars/modelid/7745/block/17S1E01/blockref/B__1721/ I notice this notes it's for right hand drive... Might be different for left hand.

Someone else might be able to confirm, but you might be able to look at MG ZS or rover 400 as well, as I think that they have 4x100 wheels. Like I say, hopefully someone can confirm.
