The guy who works on my car used to work at honda, and his mate has a body shop, but he used to work at honda as well. He was telling me once that the m's had a recall because they didn't have enough rust protection in them. Apparently they pumped loads of waxoil into the rear arches. Maybe MG didn't make the same mistake.

Hope so, it's been a struggle to try and get things organised for getting it off the drive. Still need to get the welding arranged, and it's mot time in a few weeks.

That is a shame about the door.. Will it make painting it easier than another random colour? Good to have found a clean one though

Good stuff. Tidy job on the bracket. You can almost smell that snow foam.

Well, been a while, but hopefully tomorrow is the day when tubs gets recovered to the garage to get my fuel stuff fixed - lines, filler hose, and tank replaced, and a service which will have to include some attention to the seized brakes. Once she's drivable again, it's off to the welders for a holiday to get some work done. I've found that both rear jack points are goosed, and there's a few spots underneath that need sorting, as well as a rear inner arch. I've got rear arch repair panels that need fitting, and two new front arches. Need to get my baby back sorted.

Do you have a link for the kit you got Jake?

That train needs more lows Glad to see that the CRV is still going strong and no one has decided to crash into her yet!

I remember going to Pitlochry as a kid when my dad was working up that way... Stayed at the hydro hotel. Was dead nice scenery from what I remember.

I've got the 4.7 type r one and that made a massive difference, so the 4.9 must be epic.

Some class stuff there mate.. I bet it properly shifts with that fd

Nice one on the wing, and good luck trying to find a rear lip

Guages look good on the night time shot. Shame if they're hard to see in the bright sun - could you go for a lighter tint or would that spoil the affect?
-
That's super quick service! Glad it's sorted it and you haven't had to go on a wild goose chase of intermittent sensor faults that don't throw a fault code... Good to hear Dave and Sarah were there and that he's still got the civic.

Off ebay from Germany... There's an aftermarket one made by blic. For some reason it looks like later aerodeck tanks are different from the hatch, but mine is the same... At least that's what the part number machine spits out. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264052116347
