Try swapping the front wheels with the rear. See if the vibrations move with them. Also could be worth checking the tyres themselves. See how you get on with that and we can go from there.

Wow that's pretty unlucky dude! -
Apparently on the Type R owners forum even though my car has 205/45/R17 as standard, their members swear by going 215/45/R17 on the OEM wheels.

@dinochips, any help please?

Failing that you might want to adjust the idle screw, think it'll be on the Idle control valve near the throttle body.

Yeah the car will happily do the miles! Just doesn't leave much time if a mod takes longer than a weekend!

That actually looks alright! Can't comment on the audio as I have none at work so you may have gotten lucky there Eibach are probably the best of the lowering springs around if you're willing to spend the money. But there are cheaper ones out there! Are you doing 40-50ish miles a day then? I was doing about that when I had my EK! Did feel like I was spending loads just on fuel to get to work and back! (Because I was!)

Been ages since I last posted in here, mostly because the car hasn't been used for over a year! Was out for a couple of weeks while the VTi-S was off the road with it's dead dizzy. So a few weeks ago I went to fire it up and give it a little run and the battery was completely flat this time around! Out with the jump leads onto my dads S Class but it seemed to take ages to get it to start and even then I had to leave the leads on else she'd cut out and need the leads again to eventually fire it up. Might be an issue with using a diesel to jump start a petrol? So I ordered an awesome handy bit of kit from Cyberspeed/Meister R. Much easier to deal with and less hassle of needing a second car and blocking streets/pavements with cars and leads. Video below to show you how it works, not great but you get the idea.

As long as you're okay dude, I guess that's all you can do about it now is move on and get the bumper sorted, then she'll be smart once again.

That's not good mate! Surprised you didn't take his reg and report him once you'd gotten away safely though. Shouldn't be bullied into having to fix it yourself as it's not your fault. Least it doesn't sound too major if you only need a bumper!

Very nice mate! Wheels would look good if I could see them, dark paint eh?
-
Plenty going on mate, fair play! Can't believe the state of the gearbox! Hopefully with the new bearing and clutch it'll be sweet as a nut! Really liking the work tidying up the coilovers! Wonder if mounting them like you say will affect how comfortable it is having more travel? Suppose at the very least it'll take more to bottom out if it even did before.

Look smart they do mate!

Sounds like mine on the Type R, also replaced with Jazz washers!

Dude, get one of these! http://www.cyberspeeds.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=234&products_id=476&zenid=1b874955f04bcc3dbd9e4c65a6b5e6eb There's a discount code in the traders section, or failing that the usual discount we get anyway would make it cheaper, used it on the Accord yesterday and it's brilliant bit of kit!

Budgets never win Sounds like it's pretty fast though, proper map will show you it's true potential, can't wait to see the results!

Yeah I'd want them to look the same! Can't be slipping down the path of say the Rover 800 which was actually different from one side to the other from factory!
