  1. Those alloys should go straight on mate, no problem at all. They have a high offset so as you can see, the spokes sit near flush with the outside rim of the wheel. Really nice rims those and they do suit our Civics well. You should be able to go up to 205 width on our cars (I think from memory) but the 55 profile is what's normally on the 15" alloy so you might get rubbing issues. I'd always recommend changing the tyres on any 2nd hand alloys you buy anyways, never trust the tyres as you dont know if they've had any impacts with kerbs/potholes etc which weakens the tyre wall. We did have a member here years ago who bought 2nd wheels for his mb6............had them on a week and he had a high speed blow out on the motorway in the fast lane. Car was totaled after he smashed into the centre reservation barrier (he was lucky not to have been killed!).
  2. Haha, that's what I do too! What Forza are you on Craig? I'm on F6 and F7 and also F4 Horizon on xbox one. Like the look of the MG wheel, but does it fit? I remember years ago trying to get one and there was an issue that some fit, some dont? Cant remember if its the clock spool or the splines thats the issue? Be interested to see how you get in as thats a lovely looking wheel, nice and small too. The H logo looks smart as!
  3. The way it works is the lower the ET number, the more it will stick out from the body of the car. And gernerally, the lower the ET, the bigger the dish on the wheel depending on style. We've got a bit on the site somewhere that has a diagram kinda explaining it. You can go for ones that are lower (Think Chandlers deck has quite low ET wheels) and have a bit of tyre stretch to keep it legal, but I've never been a fan of stretched tyres/stanced look. I'll see if I can get the specs from my wheels once the weather clears up a bit.
  4. Hi Ricardo. I have 16" alloys on DD my Aerodeck. Not sure what the offset is on them or width, but think they might be 6.5J or 7J. Would need to check that to be sure. Whe n I got my alloys, they were running 195/45 16 which to be honest was too small a profile. I replaced the tyres and going by what the 15"s come with as standard on these cars(55 profile), and the fact she's no longer lowered, I went for 195/50 x 16 Goodyears. No rub at all, can easily take the 195 (it's the standard width on VTi/VTiS) and with the little extra sidewall, she's a lot smoother to drive. Bonus is they fill the arches better too, so much better all round. DD's alloys are Cades Eros, which are slightly dished. The dish on them looks more than it actually is due to the design of the wheel so perfect for the look we wanted.   6. Making great progress getting the wee finer details ironed out mate. Handling must feel planted now! I love the idea of that extending armrest! The standard one is absolutely pointless tbh! Far too low, and it's not long enough! Be interested in seeing how you get on with this!

  8. Think I paid around £300 to get the clutch replaced on Ruby...and her old clutch litterally fell apart what the took it out. That was a good few years ago now though so not sure how much the price will ahve gone up by?
  9. Hi Tony, There are 3 separate harnesses for the OEM foglights. One in the dashfrom the switch to fusebox/harness number 2, Harness number 2 which goes from bulkhead to just behind drivers side headlight, then harness 3 which goes from behind headlight to the fogs themselves. there is a relay you will also need which is fitted either on the interior fusebox or near it, can't quite remember which! DD had them fitted by Honda at the dealership after we bought her. I did however retro fit oem fogs to my first Civic M, my MA8, so thats how I found out what is needed. It is a bit of a pain to fit, but is worth it for that OEM look.
  10. Totally get that mate! I've never been a fan of the "SUV" otherwise know as the "Sports Utility Vehicle". Nothing Sporty about any SUV, they're just oversized, cumbersome hulks that have the driving appeal of a driving a milkfloat around in a tumble drier. No feedback through the steering, interiors with less room than like you say an externally smaller saloon car. The only place they have more room inside is headspace, which is uneccessarily large. Wasted space above your head which serves no purpose nor serves any use. All it does is make them overly tall with a high centre of gravity which makes them more unstable handling wise. Interior is small, but exterior is bloated in every direction, meaning they take up more space on the road, are a tight fit in regular parking spaces, are a lot heavier than they need to be. Styling wise, they all look the bloody same with the exceptions of probably two (nissan Juke and Toyota CRH, which both look like each other!) I've driven the KIA Sportage (again, what the hell is sporty about something with the styling cues of a house brick??) and never driven anything so numb. The likes of Renault, Citroen and Peugeot offerings are againhorrible to look at and horrible to drive. The Audi/VW/BMW offerings look bland and are too expensive, the Porsche, Ferrari and other "prestige" (again, what is prestige about a brick?) versions are stupidly expensive. The one thing they all have in common is they are cluttering our roads, are asthetically mundane, uneconomical (therefor not environmentally friendly) and drive like the preverbial house brick. I've never lusted after a Mondeo nor wanted to own one, but i'd sure as hell have one over any SUV any day of the week! RIP Mondeo, son of the Sierra, Grandson of the Cortina....you will be sorely missed!

  12. That ULEZ has a lot to answer for, stopping petrol heads owning the cars they want/love. Been a few members who were struggling to either keep their Civic M or find one that would meet the rules (such as a late 2000)
  13. Thats the one!!!! Couldn't remember his name, that car was immense, absolutely mint in every respect. First time I'd seen an mb6 shell get broken when there wasn't even a single spec of rust anywhere on it. Real shame but only way he could recoup some of the cash he'd spent on fancy parts. Must have been gutting scrapping a perfect car that you've owned from brand new though! Gerry's a good lad, not had a blether with him for a while. Has he still got the MB2?
  14. @dr_broon Those Civic finishers/sill step trims looks lush don't they! Dawn got them for DD years ago from the chap that had the red supercharged MB6 that he had owned since brand new (can't mind his name of the top of my head though, god old age sucks!). Just looks so nice when you open the door. Did you get the full set of four?
  15. lol I was the same with the first set I bought for Ruby, they were Team Hekko's. The fit was awful, so I binned them and bought 2 sets of the Climairs. More expensive, but the quality and fit is miles better. These have never moved since I fitted them all those years ago, never had any issues at all.
  16. Hi There! Aftermarket bumpers were available for these during the 90's early noughties, but not sure what (if any) are available now. Most likely they would be available in Germany I think, deffo not available inn the UK now. Options would be the OEM VTi front spolier/lip or the VTiS front spolier/lip, both of which are available 2nd hand. Door handles wise, is it the handles inside or outside the car that are coming out? Wheels wise, there have been a few members who have gone up to 17 inch, but think this is about the biggest you could go without modifying other areas. The wheel offest will also play a big part in what fits, along with the width of the rim (7J, 7.5J, 8J, etc)
  17. Hmm, tricky one to solve. Ah, I kinda get it now about the stalks. See I was brought up on old fords etc and allmy cars had the indicators on the left, so always assumed that on the left was the correct way. Drove Gayles Kia Rio and the stalks are the other way around (indicators on the right) so always confused the crap out of me every time I drove! lol Was the same on a Mazda 323F I drove. But now you explain it, it makes absolute sense! Ours should have been on the right for UK cars, would make so much more sense!
  18. What was benefits of the jdm stalk swap again mate? Did it give you variable wipe on the wipers or something? The wee wiring gremlins will all get sorted as you go along, process of elimination when sorting them out!

  23. Mate if you need a dimmer switch I should have plenty of those in the garage. You want me to send one down to you, so you can put the wiring back to normal? Saves trying to work out why its doing that with the rear foglights? If its the headlight washer switch, think I've got those in stock too.

    Haha, totally get what you say about being impatient lol I'm the same, always chapping at the bit to get stuff done as I just can't wait! As a wise old man one said in a famous 80's film.....patience Danwell son, wemember, bweave, vewwy impotant! Oh, and wax on and off etc etc!!
