  1. Damn, same day as the civic5 meet! Guess thatll see numbers going to the meet drop! Would love to go, why is there never naff all like that up here (apart from the obvious crappy weather!)?
  2. new wheels......same old wheelie bins! lol now im confused! that deffo doesnt look like a bmw......or a deisel! looks sweet though. quite a few members gone from mb6 to ep3 on here.
  3. Damn sad times indeed. Will miss that one in the club for sure.
  4. It doesnt even look all that either, have seen much nicer original ones mate. Crazy eh!
  5. Yeah, gonna try and at least drive her on the weekends over spring/summer/autumn then lock her away during winter if the weathers bad.
  6. lol hate the new TypeR, looks gash!
  7. And she failed Handbrake efficiency 13% (has to be 16% and above for a pass) Front brake sticking Brake light bulb (bugger must have blown on way there) mot guy reckons rear brakes just need a strip down, clean and grease up and adjust handbrake. Same with front calliper thats sticking. So have just told them to do it as it saves hassle bringing her home to faff about in the garage. get her back monday
  8. browsing autotrader last night (as you do) and found a vti mb6 and a vtis mb6. Prices are bizarre! first the vti.... The ad is gone today, but it was up for £2100 with around 60 odd thousand miles on the clock. was standard, looked ok but think price was optimistic. And now for the absolute dreamer.... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201701221560630?postcode=eh331hp&maximum-mileage=60000&radius=1500&sort=price-asc&onesearchad=Used&advertising-location=at_cars&aggregatedTrim=VTI-S&model=CIVIC&make=HONDA&minimum-mileage=45000&page=1 bargain eh! Funny thing is though, although those prices seem high to us, for some reason its ok for a 3 door ek4 to have well over 130k on the clock and have a price of £4000! 4k for a car thats not as well equipped, with less power and common as muck. Ah, but its all about the "JDM" (when most were built in Swindon!) Yo! Car prices are just wierd at the moment. We keep looking for a classic such as a ford escort mk2 or a capri, but they are just fetching crazy money now, even for lowly rusted models.
  9. car game not that weak.....focus passed no probs. Funnily enough, was looking at Focus ST's on autotrader last night! pitty the buggers hold their value so well though, puts them out of my reach.......for now DDs turn tomorrow.
  10. congrats mate! And totally agree, it's a shame how much the forums have quietened down nowadays. FB and the rest of the social media crap are to blame unfortunately. Me being a dinosaur though will always stay loyal to forums rather than fb, seen too many idiots reply to mechanical questions with advice that would actually make a car dangerous! Least in here, members actually have decent, helpful and useful advice when it comes to keeping these cars in top form.
  11. Love this car after seeing it in the metal at our wedding. Was poked off when you drove away back home in it though, could have sworn you said it was a wedding gift to us! lol Loving the wee details mate, make all the difference.
  12. epic trip mate! for the photo, google "johns image converter" which is a free program for resizing images. i use it all the time, can do a whole folder of images in a couple of clicks (and can keep the originals too). give it a go bud

  16. Nice to see you saved this one from the breakers mate, she looks really good now in the photos. And these pre-facelift civics are getting pretty rare now so deffo good this ones being cared for.
  17. Think they're held in from behind with screws if I remember right mate. Should be able to see when the panel is off.
