  1. The fronts are a mare to fit mate, I tried moulding/cutting them to fit the shape of the VTIS skirts but gave up!
  2. Did you manage to fit the fronts? I take it those are oem Mb ones?

    Double-Din Dash?

I was going to do this to DD, but probably not gonna go ahead with it. I've got two centre consoles here that I bought to do this so might be for sale if you're interested? You need two as you need to cut the section outta one and use it to extend the radio slot of the other one.
  4. Sweet looking deck mate, never knew how rare they were over there! Love those BBS reps, look absolutely amazing on her mate and one of my all time fav rims (they inspired the choice of rims on DD). fair play to you fitting the mid spoiler, totally changes the look of the rear and one of the best (and rarest) mods for the deck. I chickened out of fitting DD's and got Honda to do it lol. Keep up the good work!
  5. Totally agree with Naz, deffo a sticking caliper mate. Had exactly the same symptoms on Ruby (my old MB6) same noise you describe and the wheel etc would heat up. Strip down the caliper and make sure the sliding pins can move freely. They need to be nice and smooth and well greased up (copper grease). It may just be the pins, although it can also be the piston that's getting stuck. You can strip out the piston and clean it up/replace it but you'll need to replace the rubber seals on it too. Probably less hassle and cheaper just to buy a recon caliper for it mate, that's what I did. But do try the sliding pins first as those are the easiest/cheapest option to fix.
  6. Yeah, the respray is big bucks on its own, but is always worth it
  7. Yeah, main thing is take your time with it mate. I got Honda to fit DD's in the end as didnt feel confident fitting it.
  8. Looking for tyres for the set of 17's i picked up for the mini. How much did pay for those mate if ypu dont mind me asking? Looking forward to ypu report on how these perform!
  9. Thanks mate. More work planned for DD, either front end or whole respray. How long you reckon before the coupe hits the roads?
  10. Been a couple of Days series turbos here mate, cracking engines that respond well to boost. Looking forward to following this build!
  11. Oh and im getting married again! Lol Met My fiance (aka boss) whos also a petrol head! Shes got me through everything and is an absolute nutter!
  12. Thanks mate, yeah, been a hella lot done to improve the site over the years. Got a great team running things too which has been a massive help. Thanks for the nice comments on Dawns deck, a total labour of love. Not sure if you were here in 2013? Sadly Dawn passed away with cancer, been the worst time of my life ever and was a struggle coming to terms with it. Promised id nrver sell DD though, so shes been getting all the wee mods done that Dawn wanted. Looking forward to seeing your new wheels mate, and fantastic project to have with your boy!
  13. Lol looking slick mate. Mind you, im the same....couldnt live without it. Can remember when i got the civic fn 1 and the fn2.....was like wheres the bloody rear wiper switch. Then realised they dont have one! Really missed it lol
  14. Welcom back mate, long time no see! Yeah, we invested in pukka new forum platform so had a full redesign of the site. The othe cars bit is in the members cars section mate. What you rolling in now?
  15. Awesome result for your first time out Jerrick! Congrats to you and the team at MeisterR. The S2k is looking boss!
  16. Just been out for a run in DD seeing as the sun's out. Really wanting the bonnet resprayed as the stone chipping is letting the look down when close up. Gonna get it priced up and might throw the VTIS sideskirts in at same time. Driving perfect as always though! And still grabbing the attention!
  17. Lol Gayle and me were talking bout this last night....... Thinking august for a meet/run?

    Abs sensor

The only problem you might have is the bolts holding them in may be rusted solid. The ones on the rear of the deck were, absolute pig to get off (ended up having to get the garage to get them off). ABs light should reset as soon as the new sensor is fitted mate, no jiggery pokery required.
  20. looking good mate....that paintwork in the sun is the best ever! Love pb in the sunlight, amazing colour!
