    24h clock?

I know this one is here but can't find it anymore... so how do i change my clock from 12h to 24h? I know it's simple but after disconnecting the battery don't remember no more...
  2. x 2. When problems arise, i usually post on 2 forums and do a google on it and go with the solution that gets the most support. But to my experience the answer almost every time is found on civic5.
  3. Change the ECT sensor, that's how i got mine working... even though it turns on really late but better late than never.
  4. Put the Volks back on last weekend and took a proper look at the Toyo's. Here's the fronts (left) compared to the rears: After 1500km of road use and 150km on the track the fronts have 4mm and rears 5mm left. The rears were full of molten tire bits off the front tires on them, i guess i've tested the limits of traction pretty thoroughly now! As promised for winning cotm i gave the deck a proper wash n' wax and interior clean and took her for a night drive around the Helsinki shore and managed to even get one ok looking shot.
  5. Aaa the home screen! My quick link takes me straight to the forum and i've just kept checking the cotm-page for updates on the situation, i haven't even been to the home screen for ages. But now that i've seen it i believe it, so a big thanks to everyone for the votes! I truly appreciate it. Especially a big hand to Knight for entering me, i probably would've waited for another year or two to get the deck "ready" before entering myself ! Well now it's nice and sunny outside so i think i'll do a proper wash n' wax + interior clean to celebrate this... maybe even do some e-baying! And speaking of the IABs i think i need a remap! Especially for that track. I've changed the sensor, before that the fan wouldn't work at all. But you mean the radiator fan switch that goes into the thermostat housing? The thermostat itself has been changed twice at a shop during other servicing, do you think they've changed the switch at the same time or is it a separate component? I wouldn't want to do work that's been done already... But if you're going to Ahvenisto, let me know! I'm planning on going back there atleast a couple of times before this season is over, was such a blast last time.
  6. Thanks! It's a Gopro 1. And i can tell you the quality is a lot better (HD) in reality than in youtube. And regarding the cotm i don't think it's official yet, even though it's looking pretty good for me at the moment...
  7. Thanks man even though i don't think it's official yet... yours will be next month i reckon! And with all the mods you're planning it's defo car of the year material .
  8. One of my favourite features of the M's... have saved me plenty of times! Very nice photo with the graffiti! I think you could make a good contribution to this topic as well...:http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7074-your-pets-yourself-your-honda/
  9. Visited Ahvenisto race track a few days ago, was so much fun! During the day drove almost 150km around the track so in the end it started to go pretty well, here's a video of the day's best lap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPjdGGR9sCE Can't wait to go again, love my new R888's! But i'm definitely now loving my rad fan! I don't know if it's the same with everybody else's M's but mine doesn't even turn on until the needle is about 3/4 the way up the gauge. And at that point it isn't powerful enough to keep the vtec heat down so i could only do 2-3 laps of hard driving at the most without stopping for cooling. AND when cooling down, the fan goes off way before the engine has actually cooled down to anywhere near normal temperatures... . Frustrating. But that'll be fixed! I don't know what's the best way to do it, but i'm planning on something like this for future track days: get a connector that goes into the rad fan motor, attach some wires, attach a switch, attach some more wires and connect them straight to the battery. Then i should have non-stop fannage at the flick of a switch... if all goes well. It seems simple to me but this kind of custom stuff isn't really my alley so if someone has any advice or better ideas, let's hear them!
  10. Can we have lots of photos of the process please, since this will be a first over here (as far as i know, correct me if i'm wrong). Good luck!
  11. I have to be honest i'm very very jealous at the moment.
  12. If you can't hear it inside it doesn't scrape enough!!! Nice pics as always. Really like those rims.
  13. Well glad to hear i'm not the only one with the same problem but sad to know that so many has the same! Let's hope we can work this out. Yeah it's exactly like that on mine too. Well mine didn't do this until this spring as far as i can remember... atleast not so violently. We had a long and snowy winter so it wasn't driven hard for almost 6 months. Since my shocks are non-adjustable i think i'll start with the engine mounts like Noodels and Karjis suggested. Energy bits sound like they could do the trick: "Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts are best known for their ability to reduce wheel hop and allow high performance vehicles to put more power into propelling the car forward." Here's more info: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/About-Energy-Suspension-Motor-Mount-Inserts.asp Tegiwa has them on sale in ebay for 50 quid incl. shipping... not bad. I think i'll give them a shot, have no idea though if i can install them myself.
  14. Thanks for all the comments! Unfortunately can't increase damping... need to save for some MeisterR's!
  15. There's nothing wrong with your ride, Maz! Nice clean low look and race rims. But if you take a look at ollie's or maxposer's rides for example you can see it's a tough month to win...
  16. Fitted the Toyo's yesterday and took her for a spirited test drive. I thought i knew what "grip" meant, but i was so wrong. Because these babies GRIP! I was laughing so much, couldn't even get tire squeal in the corners and still almost fell of my seat. I need to get to a track soon to test some limits. But i've noticed my front end has become bouncy instead of skiddy at revvy takeoffs. Also same problem when redlining first gear and doing a lightning quick change to second. I used to think this was just because of poor tires, and yes the toyos did help a lot but still there's some bounce and i didn't have this problem before last winter. Maybe there's something wrong with the suspension, any ideas? Anyone else have the same problem?
  17. Oh i didn't even notice this but good that you're doing all of them, looks a bit funny now that i think about it with black strips only on sides but nowhere else. But hope you're leaving the lip kit black? Leaves a nice contrast.
