  1. Not personal experience but they are definitely on my list. If you want fully adjustable coils (height + damping) one of the best sets you can get for an m-civic, as far as i know.
  2. Front looking heaps better with the new grill
  3. According to this list http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/199-can-we-write-the-most-helpful-list-ever/ they do.
  4. Aaaargh if i now only had enough cheese..! But my japanese wheels ate most of this years tuning budget. Hopefully the buy works out nice and we can do another one maybe next year..!
  5. I bet it'll look mint after your clay session. I haven't bothered any further than red autoglym on my own deck since it's so scratched up and full of small dents.
  6. Black wheels with polished lips work for any color, they compliment the black trim very nicely imho.
  7. Looks awesome, great choice with the new wheels. The aerodeck just looks so good in blue.
  8. Thanks, Knight, appreciate it! Thought about entering myself but as soon as the game begun with ollie's deck i knew it was already over! Well atleast i don't have to think who to vote for... that ride is just so low and mean .
  9. I would buy used ones. For example at the moment there are many M-civics being broken for spares in Lithuania and are willing to ship all over europe, just search ebay or use this link to start with: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=mb6+breaking+lithuania&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xmb6+breaking.TRS0&_nkw=mb6+breaking&_sacat=0 Hope that helps.
  10. That's what i'd call an investment! So in a way the wheel won't cost anything, right? Really nice mod, love it. Might buy one myself one day.
  11. Wow just read through this build, that's crazy fast progress! Also love the turbo, bet the frontal exhaust is hella loud ! Don't know about the engine bay colours, though...
  12. Yes i've heard! Luckily a friend of mine has a heat gun. And now finally some pics with the volks: As you can see there's a gap in the rear arch. The front looks good i think so once the rear get sorted out i think it'll be quite a tasty baby of a deck! Hope you like it as much as i do. There's washer fluid leaking from the front btw. And i swapped the repeater bulbs to chromes after taking the shots. Also treated her to a new pollen filter, washed and oiled the air filter and fixed the driver's broken power window (was luckily just the fuse).
  13. I used to have the sport kit on my MC2. Were really nice but wanted height adjustment and bought coils for twice the price of the koni's... and the ride with the Koni's were better! When I sold the used kit, it had seen 6 years and 40,000 miles and was still in good condition. So if you can find a used kit for cheap, i'd go for that.
  14. The upper adjustment ring (see pic) on one of my H&R coils is completely stuck. The lower one turns as normal but the upper one not even 1mm. I've sprayed a can of CRC on it, tapped (and banged) the spanner with a wrench but nothing helps. Any tips what to try? Wouldn't want to take it to a shop yet. Last time i adjusted height was about 3 months ago and had no problems. Properly cleaned the threads before. Not my actual shock, just a reference photo off the internet.

    central locking

I want to know this as well, there is a fuse for sure since Haynes says central locking issues "check fuse first" but on the fuse box diagram there's no central locking fuse. So...
  16. Congrats on purchasing possibly the best ride in the world!

    Coilovers

    Oops double post.

    Coilovers

Same here! The ride with my 500€ -35mm Koni Sport Kit was a lot better than with my current 1000€ H&R kit, because the Koni's were adjustable. Got the H&R's because i wanted coilovers but learnt quick that if you want to really low and still be able to drive fast, the damping adjustment is necessary. But if you're not going to slam your Mb all the way i think you'll be fine with Prosports, it's just down to your driving style.

    Coilovers

Never heard! But for that price including tüv certification might be a good buy. The list shows it's compatible with the 1.8 aerodeck so it should fit the mb6 as well. But i'd just e-mail them to be sure.
  20. That sucks man, hope everything works out in the end.
  21. awesome looking bay, new leads really stand out!
  22. Just got back from Berlin. For anybody traveling there, Classic Remise is a must visit: http://www.remise.de/Classic-Remise-Berlin-english-summary.php They had pretty much every classic sports car you can imagine. Felt like a slice of heaven! And the Volks are finally on. Sorry no photos yet but to tell you the truth, it wasn't really a jawdropper for me once the deck was lowered again and off the jackstands. The front looks very nice, but in the rear the tires are just too stretched and from the side it looks like there's just a huge rim with a rubber band around it. A pretty good looking rim though, imho, but there's still work to be done to get it right. I could just bite the bullet and buy bigger tires but want to try other options first. And it looks like i can't get arches rolled without spending 50€ (42£) per arch. Luckily the front is quite ok, it's almost all the way down and i get barely any rub but in the back the gap is just too big with the wide stretch so it's has to go lower and that means rolling. I could take a chance and try to learn something new and borrow a roller and a heat gun but it's gonna be quite a job: i will need spacers and to lift the suspension almost all the way to the top to get the roller in the right position. And the H&R's are pretty tight to move. Especially at the moment: one of the rings used to wrench the suspension higher or lower on my right rear corner has jammed! Completely. I fought 2 hours against it and couldn't get it to move at all. Sprayed almost a can of crc, tapped (and banged!) the wrench with a hammer and even used my foot and whole body weight against it but in vain. Well i did manage to bend the wrench quite a bit! I adjusted the height 3 months ago and every corned moved ok, so i've got no idea what's gone wrong. It's just stuck. I'd hate to take it to the shop since i'm completely out of cash after the Berlin trip, any super duper ideas how/what yet to try? Total frustration. But luckily this is just a hobby. And i like this! I'll post some pics soon.
  23. Road legal, atleast over here in Finland, and we've got really strict traffic laws so i reckon they should ok over there as well. Just saw a JDM DC5 with the same tires yesterday.
  24. I had already forgotten how good fresh rubber smells until i got these babies. They're still hanging out on the backseat... no need for air fresheners!
