  1. I'd defo replace the bulb and read the fault codes, doesn't take that much time.
  2. I'm running grooved discs from Brake Depot at the moment with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Worked a real treat on street but the front pads got next to finished in just 2 track days. Did full days with long, up to 8 hard lap stints but still expected more from them. Performance was great, though, improved my track times by a few seconds compared to stock brakes. Now looking to replace them with a different brand, tempted about EBC Yellowstuff but have heard mixed opinions about them...
  3. I've got a Lonely Planet travel dictionary, hope i'll survive with that!
  4. I've heard about the place, would be a good place for some souvenirs i think!
  5. Thanks man, Honda Collection Hall at Twin Ring Motegi just 90min from Tokyo went straight to the top of my list!
  6. I'm lucky enough to end up in Tokyo for 2 days in a few weeks and ofcourse will try to fit some car culture, preferably Honda into the trip. Does anyone know any car related spots/shops worth visiting in the city?
  7. Maybe buy one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Rebuild-Honda-Engines-Break--Installation/dp/1932494782/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454015603&sr=8-1&keywords=how+to+rebuild+honda+b+series+engines Got it for christmas a year ago, very helpful even though haven't gone through a rebuild yet. It's "highly recommended to replace head bolts with studs for any rebuild". But you'll need a Haynes manual etc. for the torque settings. Or you can always download the official service manual from this forum, just click on the downloads tab on the top of the screen.
  8. The B18C4 burns a bit of oil when vtec'd, they're all like that i've heard!
  9. Sure because of the cold weather, but i think the only effect the added glycol should have is the freezing threshold? I run a -30c mix year round.
  10. Yeah i guess that's it, i'm just surprised it makes such a huge difference.
  11. That's strange, i've never noticed this. The colder it gets outside the higher i crank the heating, i've never noticed it cool down once the engine is up to normal temp. I'm running an oem stat. And with colder i mean up to -25c. But i still have air con, even though not in use and don't even have the belt for it anymore.
  12. http://www.timeanddate.com/weather/finland/helsinki/historic And you may also scroll back one week...
  13. New year, new plans. But first here's a summary of what happened in 2015: Mods: BC Racing coils with 12/10kg springs and damping adjustment extensions in the rear Tegiwa brake stopper Plates centered Crossover relocation inside door cards Intake resonator box delete OEM refurbed fog lights with yellow tint 15x7 ET30 ATS wheels for the winter 5mm spacers all round Red rocker cover Repairs/maintenance: Custom headlight washer covers redone Wing mirror OEM dials (removed non-functional Moman plasma dials) Track rod ends Calipers re-painted red New battery Driveshaft gaiter boot Rustproofing and repairs I've been quite busy with other stuff so haven't updated this thread in a while, but i'll catch up in a bit, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. But in the meantime, here's some season's greetings from my lovely country: And i parked there only 22 hours ago ! Luckily the snowfall has stopped.
  14. I've had 16x7 ET40 205/45's sitting pretty low with no scrape. Are your plastic inner wheel arches sitting properly? If some of the screws are missing they might be hanging lower, thus the scrape.
  15. Doesn't look like it should rub at all. Unless your wheels poke out a lot. What offset are they? I used to run ET37 17x8.5" rears with lower ride height and without arch rolls. No rub. Had stretch tyres though...
  16. Ordered Strongflex links and managed to modify the Energy bushes .
  17. Same here, about half of the cars please my eye the equal amount. How long does the vote run until?
  18. Thanks man, exaclty what i was looking for! But i did already start modifying some Energy Suspension 15mm front roll bar bushes i had lying around, so will first see how well they will turn out. You mean Strongflex? I did e-mail them and they just replied sorry we don't make bushes for the mg zs rear arb.
  19. Okay i've decided to go with Strongflex link bushes, still gotta figure out the actual arb bushes... might just stick with the used oem's that came with the bar, they seem to be in ok shape.
  20. Finally fitting a 20mm rear arb. I want to fit poly bushes, but was quite shocked to find out Powerflex's will make me £75 poorer! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZS-Powerflex-Rear-Anti-Roll-Bar-Bushes-20mm-PFR42-515-20-/380908906840?hash=item58aff0a958:g:dMUAAOxyhS9Te4yP http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MG-ZS-Powerflex-Rear-Anti-Roll-Bar-Link-Kits-PFR25-111-/371066646043?hash=item56654bae1b:g:UJgAAMXQ1ZhTe43E Strongflex would be a lot cheaper at only £13 for the links: http://www.strongflex.eu/en/acura-integra-93-01/635-rear-anti-roll-bar-link-bush-sport.html http://www.strongflex.eu/en/acura-integra-93-01/631-rear-anti-roll-bar-link-bush-sport.html But couldn't find any 20mm bushes for the bar! This is the one that came closest: http://www.strongflex.eu/en/acura-integra-93-01/154-front-anti-roll-bar-bush-sport.html#/ffront_anti_roll_bar-21mm So my questions are: a) any experience with Strongflex? b ) i've got a full Powerflex bush kit in the front, any point mixing it with different poly bushes in the rear? On the other hand i am mixing new Powerflexes in the front with old worn oem bushes in the back at the moment. c) any cheaper options for the 20mm rear arb bushes than Powerflex? Edit: here's the link for Superflex 20mm rear arb bushes for the next person with the same problem, don't have to scroll down the whole topic! http://www.superflex.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=SF324-0266K
  21. Here's mine on 17's. Still totally driveable as long as you watch out for bumps and potholes etc. But like Chandler said about 16's, can't go really low without rub, that's the first problem you'll run into with 17's as well, definitely not hitting the ground. So if you really wanna slam i'd go for 15's, even though the size imho is wee small for a deck-sized car.
  22. Congrats, well deserved. Stunning looking deck. Love it in red, pretty rare color after all!
