Ah yes. I knew you had to do this. Didn't know that's what it was called

That's what I had read too Jake. It's difficult though because nowhere does the advert say they are genuine. On the other hand it doesn't say they're rip offs either. If you want genuine, gotta go official disti. Although I've been looking at these and hearing good things. http://www.hardrace.co.uk/hard-race-civic-eg-dc2-ef-da-rear-low-cntrl-arm-50mm-shock.html

Looking good mate! Regarding height, I did the same as Alex, set them up equally, however unless your on a perfectly flat surface, and I mean absolutely perfect, the ride height isn't equal. Only by 4-5mm. But I'm anal like that and can see it. The woes of coilovers lol. But she handles spot on so wouldn't want to sacrifice normal ride height for handling.

So quite a bit been going on the last week or so. Firstly are my fogs. As with almost all out M's, they had smashed the previous owner had attempted to make them look better by glue gunning two half moon done things onto the surrounds. Didn't look too bad from afar, but terrible up close. So bought some £10 yellow eBay specials. Turned up, was happy Went out, bumper off, old cracked ones out. Wired the drivers side up, made the brackets up, all good. Tested drivers side, worked. Did the same on passenger and whacked the bumper back on (having good faith in my wiring abilities) passenger side didn't work shit. Turns out to be the bulb. Supplier wanted me to send them back, I told them to jog on, they sent me two more brand new complete fogs! Arrived and now all in and working. Haven't got a night pic but am out late tonight so will get on then. And as some of you might see, I've also got a nice new meshed grill, courtesy of Mr @phill1975 cheers mate, loving it. Got an idea to mix it up too Car also came up to it's 6k oil change. So with my little helpers, gave the ol girl some fresh fluids. While she was up in the air, stuck my short shifter on too. What a difference they make, through is now about 3" between gears. Lovely. Again, actually couldn't have done this without my eldest helper! Last one was in the bay. Took the rocker cover off the EK, have it to @Chandler who managed to bead blast it for me, cheers mate! Saved me the elbow grease!! So primed and painted. Also added my low profile kit while it was off! Well happy with how it turned out. Only grievance I've got it's where I rubbed down the lettering, the white primer has tab into the wrinkles of the black, going to see whether it burns off, if not I'll figure out a way of cleaning it. Pics: Obligatory letter rub down Fitted. Also re painted my intake piping in the same wrinkle paint. Interestingly though, I put the piping in the oven to cure, however I couldn't do it to the rocker as it wouldn't fit! Lol, but the wrinkles on the piping cured a lot tighter than the air dried rocker. Something to bear in mind!

No Adam!! Come on!! Don't send another to the breakers yard!! One day, our M's are going to be so rare we'll be able to charge vintage prices for them

Looking good Jake! Wasn't that difficult in the end

Couple of hours to do both sides, its the bleeding after that will be the pain in the arse .. Tools wise, just a basic tool set i'd have thought .. You'll need a think set of knuckles too ..
-
Well @Krzys got all four refurbed for £200 i think was the original agreed price .. Sure you can pick up recon rear calipers for about £70 each ..
-
Thats a hell of a lot of money mate ..

Yeah we could arrange something mate.. We'll have a chat at Fest

Last question. Absolutely. Leaks don't just disappear. I think you have two unrelated problems here mate. You've established the exhaust issue. To try and establish the leak issue, take the car out, come home, then out some cardboard under the car where you think it leaking from. This should give you a better idea of where it's coming from and hopefully narrow the search area down slightly. Once you've determined a rough area, you can begin to look at it in more detail.
