  1. Sounds like bit of a long procedure... Atleast you're getting somewhere though
  2. Looks good! Is that an adjustable decat?
  3. You lucky SonOfaBitch! Good find and what a bargain! Shame about the tyre though...
  4. Nice one mate! That's how I felt when the leak was fixed
  5. I knew you would comment on my thread in no time I am very happy with top end power of my MB3 but I want a bit more bottom end, it seems torqueless before 4000rpm. I didn't know the Z8 and Y8 are the same castings, again I haven't done enough research... On that link, did matey use another ECU or was it just a standard one for the original head? (before the mini-me conversion) Oh and how is your new engine coming along?
  6. I have taken the glovebox out to check it's all dry, but I will keep an eye on it when it rains again. Also, I have noticed the bottom of the windcscren have white mould under the glass, its the same at the top of the windscreen too. I hope to get the windscreen replaced once I go fully comp
  7. This leak in the passenger foot well seem to come and go! One thing I do know for sure, it isn't coolant. So I guess its not the heater matrix? Not sure but its not leaking now anyway... And yes! I have picked up a D16Y8 head! Obviously I got to do a lot of research, getting bits and pieces together and find a P28 or P30 ecu, but is it worth doing a head conversion? Is it really worth the hassle? I have seen a lot of people do it to D14, D15 and non vtec motors but dunno yet, I will have a long think about it So, I got a: D16Y8 cylinder head D16Z6 inlet manifold D16Z6 exhaust manifold which is currently fitted
  8. Yay! I bet it feels like a completely different car now... I just got myself a D16Y8 head today. I will be fitting that to my MB3 when I get the bits and pieces Get a video up, we love videos! Well, I do...
  9. I have removed dashboards from Laguna's before, I hope it isn't as bad I will do it once the weather clears up a bit, if it does....
  10. Bloody hell.... I think its going to be longer than a days work by the looks of it I will see how it goes in the next few days...
  11. Whole dashboard out? Greeeeaaaat.......... I just went out to have another look. Turn the heaters on number 2, let the car run a bit and as soon as the engine revs starts to drop (I guess that's the thermostat opening too) water starts dripping from under the dash. I removed the glove box and yes, it doesn't look like an easy job....
  12. That's exactly what I thought, I bet the ball-joints are original too!
  13. Thanks Krzys, the speakers really do the job nicely! You don't drill any holes in the adapters, you drill one hole in the door at the top
  14. Cheers lads! I will just get 2 new ball-joints then, they're not that expensive so it's not a big lost if the noise doesn't go away. Thanks again
  15. Ah right, I didn't know you was preparing to do this Paul but I hope someone has the money to pay you full asking price for your VTi, unlikely though Type R sounds nice though
  16. More water inside my car... Just cruising home in the pi$$ing down rain and noticed there's water excessively dripping from the glove box. The footwell is soaking! I hope it's just the heater matrix leaking instead of the car itself
  17. No not yet but I'm not worrying about it too much as seeing Dave is taking time off
  18. But it would be even worse breaking something you really love Thing is I don't understand why so many people break there cars once they finish modifying there pride and joy. I see it all the time on other forums. Buy a car + modify it + finish it + break it
  19. That's awesome.. I got Civic5 plates too but I haven't fitted them yet
  20. What a shame... How can you break such a beauty which won COTM and COTY? And if you don't want to drive a CDTi for the rest of your life, keep your VTi-S, least it saves you money buying another car after
  21. Nice looking MB6 mate. I'm not a fan of those wheels too but I quite like how the tyres poke out a bit
