Hi everyone, I am the owner of a Civic MB1, I need to correct the convergence (toe angle), but I can't identify which point needs to be worked on, I also looked at the exploded views on the HONDA website with the OEM codes but not I can't find anything that can help me. Can any mb1 owner help me? My tires are wearing out internally and I need to get the job done as soon as possible.. thanks in advance

Hey there, I downloaded the Civic manual as I was looking for the bolt sizes and torque requirements for fitting. the LCA bolts are 14x1.5mm but it doesn't say what length they are? I need bolts for the compliance bushing that bolts into the chassis. picture below does anyone know the length of these bolts ? Kind regards

Hello :) So I've already read some topics in here about the recommended suspension and the most popular opinion is the mg zs 180 shocks. I'm from Portugal so how can I find that suspension and where are there legit deals? If there are also any more options feel free to give them, thank you!

Never posted the results of my venture to give the front suspension an overhaul, but it's been done for a couple weeks at least now. Here are some pictures I used to be able to feel the left bearing rotating through my feet on the floor, it was definitely starting to fail, new bearings are smooth as butter. Steering is a bit snappier and direct, but the confidence it puts in the car is awesome. There's hardly any body roll at all, which is surprising considering it's still a stock ARB This thing finally feels underpowered, and I'm yearning for more...next up however, is the rear suspension. Rear LCAs, Camber and Toe arms up next. My Mb2 did not come with an ARB in the rear so perhaps i should invest in one, would it make much difference back there?

How the the HELL are you supposed to get this lower ball joint out of the knuckle?? On every video I see on YouTube the knuckle lower ball joint has way more clearance than what I got, and it looks like there is quite literally no physical way to get these lower ball joints out without destroying something. Anyone got experience with these? My chassis is an Mb2, D14Z4

Hi. I need to replace the suspension of my MB2. I'm thinking of putting KONI Sport from an EK, because there's no KONI for MBs anymore, and I want something a little sportier for him. Do you know if it will work well on the MB chassis? I don't want to put coilovers, because in portugal it's illegal and my MB2 is my daily car.

Am I right in thinking that the only difference fitment wise for dc2 shocks is the forks on the rears? When I got the skunk LCAs fitted they needed to machine the bush down to be able to fit the shocks, so presumably the LCAs were eg/dc2 ones. I've got to get some better shocks, and miss the konis I used to have, and am thinking about going down the integra route if it will work.

Does anybody know if you can fit the mg zs 180 rear arb to civic mc1 (non VTI aerodeck)? i woud have thoughtso, but id noticed that they dont come with the rear subframe brace or front strut brace, and the mounting points arent there to even fit one?

Hey all i know this isnt the good one but would this be all i would need to put an arb on my aerodeck ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-200-400-Coupe-Cabriolet-Tourer-45-MG-ZS-16mm-Rear-Anti-Roll-Bar-RGB100490-/234199683204?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0

My new MC2 desperately needs front suspension work and all the control arms will have to go. Concerning parts purchase, this might be my first chance to spice things up. Knowing (thanks to you guys) that the ZS180 has revised arms to induce increased caster and learning of the benefits and drawbacks, I'm thinking maybe go for ZS control arms as oposed to stock. Will they be a direct fit?

I have an aerodeck vti and when I bought it, I decided instantly it was too soft and handled like a barge. So I managed to find an mg zs 180 rear arb and ordered a set on eibach springs. Once it was all fitted the car does seem alot better, but it's still really soft. I don't think the dampers have had it, I just think there too soft. After reading, I keep seeing about the zs180 shocks, but it says they'll lower the car another 15mm (which is don't want it any lower, just firmer). Butni keep seeing people say get the zs120. So I'm confused and can't find a definite answer. So keeping my current eibach springs, which would be better, Zs180 or zs120 dampers? Thanks.

Sorry if this sounds like a broken record, ive been doing loads of searching and cant seem to find exactly what im looking for. Just picked up my aerodeck and found that people say to fit the mgzs 180 rear arb (20mm), as this is a straight bolt on part. But, if one of these cant be found, is there any other straight bolt on arb? ive read the DC2 isnt as the bushes are in a different place and so is the ek. When looking on any parts website, when you go to the car select, they never list the civic mb/ mc chassis so it makes it a little hard to find parts. again, sorry if this has been asked a thousand times.

hello guys, this is my first post here so i might say some silly things. i have an '98 mb3 which i love. but i think the body is to soft and has to much roll. i went online and found a rear anti roll bar kit (https://www.all4honda.com/nl/m2-sport-sway-bar-kit-19mm-achterzijde-civic-del-sol-integra). i dont want to go for lowering springs right now because i dont have the budget for a good set. anyways my question is, is this something to buy and can I instal it right away without drilling any new holes? any other tips on installment would be greatly appreciated. Much thanks and greatings from the netherlands

Hi guys. This is how my car looks (MB6 B18C4) with normal Kyb shocks and Eibach Pro Kit springs. It is almost ok, but front is too low for me. (even i am using special B18C4 Eibach springs) I want to raise the front a little bit (1 finger lets say)..i should use MG ZS180 VS shocks and MG ZS120 springs?

Could anyone inform me with what kind of coilovers/springs fit on the mb4?

I've just seen these on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293660003362 According to the blurb, they're based on the eibach design, which presumably is the xpower ones that @weetec managed to get a set of years ago. Interestingly they say that they're no good for the other petrol ZS models as they're too light at the front, which ties in with what some have found with ZS springs in the past. The claimed drop is less than the aftermarket eibach springs for the vti. Thought I'd share anyway

Hello guys, I've finally found a company which makes halfcages for our platform. So if you can put it in the tracktool, daily racecar, weekend turbo warrior, or just for the racecar looks. They have them as a weld in and bolt in. Even a DIy set if you'd like to build it yourselves. Even in multiple different colours! https://www.jp-cages.co.uk/product/honda-civic-mb6-half-cage/

Hello everyone. I'm the owner of a Silver VTI Aerodeck for almost 7 years now, and use it as a daily/weekendracer/tracktool. I've changed it almost every nut and bolt on the car, and still I try to improve things as we go. The full suspension of the car has been adjusted/altered for a fully adjustable coiloverset, PU bushings, changed the front brakes from the oem single piston to a double piston caliper form the Accord V6, braided brakelines, Ferodo ds2500 pads, slothed discs from Stoptech, and loads more. I've just always wondered, what are the thickest swaybars we can fit on our cars? All I've noticed in the last couple of years is that the EG and ITR parts often fit, sometimes with minor adjustments, so I thought it would be the case with this aswell. Can someone enlight me? With kind regards and heaps of respect for the build on this forum, love it! Koen

So looking to replace the drop links for the MGZS ARB on the Deck, and went to Rimmerbros as you do. They're out of stock, but using the part number on ebay brings up drop links that are also compatible with EGs. Are they the same? I always remember folk saying that the MG ones had a better design than the honda ones. MG Honda EBay
