    I tried changing the sensor in the ceiling when I had my 1.4 civic and it didn't work. I used the sensor from my aerodeck to try it. My 1.4 fob wouldn't work with it. However when I used the fob from the aerodeck with the sensor from the deck still fitted to my 1.4 it opened and locked the doors no problem. So the sensor/receiver have to match.

    To replace the original key fob you would need the matching receiver dome, module In dash and the fob. All three must be matching

    Wow, some quality metal there and so many wants! As much as I dislike Renaults, always had a soft spot for that model. Was so far advanced for the time and still looks amazing! That wee Mark2 Escort looks spot on and as for the Lotus Sunbeam.....droooooool! Used to be to A35's parked in my street when I was growing up! one belonged to my friends sister and was a right beat up wee thing (the car not the sister! lol)

    lol Can remember seeing that rover "Tourer" for the first time and seeing it being described as "the only rover tourer made by rover". Had to laugh! I explained the story behind that car (or the other one that's going about) about how Rover had bought in two Aerodeck bodyshells from Honda, but due to funding, decided no to go ahead with it. Then two employees at Rover bought the shells and added the Rover front panels but had to leave the rear as Honda intended as Rover hadn't made any new rear lights/bumpers/tailgates for then, again due to no money for it. Then called them Rover tourers, even though Rover never actually made that version of the tourer (although they did make the earlier 416 style tourer)! I merley pointed out that it was just a Civic Aerodeck with Rover panels fitted to it (and Rover running gear) and think it was then that I got banned from the MG Rover forums! lol That pic keeps coming back to haunt me! Funnily enough, I actually like the look of it!

    Yeah, think I'm gonna do that too. Might help make things a bit easier to bear! Gonna pay the bills tomorrow the see what Ive got left from this months wages, hopefully enough to get that damn ABS sensor! Had a go at getting it off but the bolts are rock solid, didnt even move after heating them and they're trying to round off. Gonna be a pig to change! Any ideas?

    Kielder would be good. DD off the road just now as MOT is out and she still needs the rear left abs sensor replaced. Not got time to fix her at the moment with loads of exams at college going on Gonna bit the bullet and just get the sensor brand new from Honda to save faffing about with second hand ones. Garage is also a bit of a state just now as we're using it as storage at the moment for some of Gayle's stuff (just moved in last week) so Roxy is slumming it in the drive! DD's side of the garage is still free so she's still safely tucked up, should be starting work on her soon and then get the mot done. Roxy is due her mot next month too, then insurance and tax! All bloody happening just now!

    Been missing ya bud! Glad to see you back but sorry the new career didn't work out. Back to IT it is! Just studying here for another exam at college this morning, dreading it! All about systems monitoring, backups (incrimental, differential, etc) and a ton of other crap! Might need to pick your brains if I fail it, so actually good that you're back in it!

    I work for a car club, and have been in the directors job for 7 years or so. Like above, I get the blame when things go tips up Lmao oh, and I'm at the top of the pay scale and earn zero!

    Think we did have one with the lower grill meshed many moons ago mate, think you'd maybe need the bonnet grill meshed the same though to make it look right?

    Hopefully get it fitted soon. Got her not due on the 26th of this month and need a rear ABS sensor so in a rush to get that sorted now! Lol Think she should be OK apart from that.
