Hi guys, just picked up my mb6 and I noticed on the test drive and drive home that it's stiff selecting gears. I thought it was maybe the bottom bolt on the short shifter being tight but I just checked and it's ok. It has a short throw as expected but just stuff selecting gears. Any ideas?

Hi Guys, Got an mb3 and the fob isn't working. When the car was first given to me the fob worked, but I had to press hard to unlock. Lock worked fine. At some point (Can't remember when) it stopped working altogether. Thought it may have been the batteries so I bought new ones. Doesn't work. The light doesn't go on, so not a reprogramming issue. Not too long ago I dropped/got the fob a bit wet to some degree and it started working again, but only on locking the car, not unlocking. Is there any known faults like this? Would like to get it fixed, if not I'll get the HAWK locking system. I'll put up pictures of the fob in a bit.

Hi, this is my first topic & time on these forums as I have bought a Honda LS 1.6. The car has been modified as you can see from the pic, but the bumpers are made out of terrible fiberglass material. I wanted to know which exterior parts from Honda models I could put on there without making too many adjustments. Sorry if there is a topic already about this but I feel I was unable to get answers that were relevant. Thanks for your help.

Hi People I think my suspension is on the way out on my Civic sport (MB) 1.4. My near side is creaking like an old rocking chair. Well the car is 16 years old now with 112,000 miles on the clock so i really cant complain. I want to keep her standard but i want to uprate and improve. What are my options ? Many thanks Best wishes Chris

I have an MB2 with a downstream O2 sensor plugged into the back of the cat. It is likely I'll need to change the cat as it keeps throwing a P0420 (cat efficiency) code and setting the engine check light. The problem for me is that the downstream O2 sensor sits on top of the cat and the wiring disappears into the floor and I can't see how to disconnect the O2 sensor wiring so that the cat can be removed. It looks like the wiring goes through the floor somewhere behind the centre console. Can anyone tell me how I can access the downstream O2 sensor connector plug? I think there must be an easier way to change the cat than to have to remove the centre console! How do exhaust places do this job?

got these yesterday & pair of tweeters that fit by door mirrors total of £30. One of headlights on car has broken bracket so bodged with wire at the moment. Took ages to get through the sticky stuff, might do the other one later, used toothpaste, T-cut and Brasso on lenses but Autosol worked best. Brought back memories of having chrome bumpers! Got the other two Fox wheels fitted today - thankfully none of that set were buckled. Found a guy in Ilford Essex that breaks just Hondas from his home, right little treasure trove. That's where I sourced the lights & tweeters. He was impressed with back of the car - no rust, at least it has a good rear end lol. Got some bolts to try sort front bumper for now, little bit skint til payday. Couldn't get door latch to budge when tried to take off door card earlier. Unscrewed it pushed it to one side but it would not come off. Is there some trick I'm missing? Started day with a little snow now we have rain so messing around with the car will have to wait til after I've done my next 4x12hr shifts.

Hi everyone it's been about a week or so since I joined Civic5 so thought it was about time that I started a build thread. The Mb's been in my family since new and has been kept standard and well pampered it's whole life but after 16 years could be doing with a few upgrades so it can keep up with its modern day counterparts. Apart from a ABS sensor, couple of saggy doorcard fabrics and some lacquer peel on the spoiler its pretty much straight onto upgrades. Once I've got my Impreza out the garage and back on the road at the end of the month the civic will be going in and getting stripped down/rebuilt. Main focus is going to be on the suspension/brakes as at the moment they can only be described as tragic! Had originally planned on a ATR spoiler and Accord sport wheels but decided I'm going with something completely different now. Anyway enough talking here's some pics....... First job is to definitely sort out the tailgate!

Hi everyone, I'm a owner of a nighthawk black mb3, Tonight I bought a stunning blue civic LE, I'm in love with it so to speak. It's had one owner since new, and in that time it's covered just over 26,000 miles. it's faultless as you'd expect from a car that's been serviced by Honda every 1-3 thousand miles or every year, it's covered Less than a thousand miles in the last 3years. I've got alot planned that hopefully goes to plan. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
