  1. Nice one mate! Hope it goes to a good home, be nice to see her getting fixed up.
  2. I'd deff renew the head bolts mate, just for piece of mind. They do tend to stretch, so would be a good idea to replace seeing as you're going for power. Gonna be a nice project to follow this one. And yes they do tend to use a little oil But if the oil consumption is high, then replace the stem seals. What kinda mileage has she done?
  3. Wow lots of goodies right there mate! Somebody has a lot of nice toys in that last pic to play with! lol looking forward to the updates!
  4. Hi Ian. I'd love to take on this, but don't have the room here at the moment. But thanks for offering this to the club members, very generous mate. I'm sure it will find a home on here. Regarding contact, if you have your notifications set correctly then you should get an email advising you have a new PM here in civic5.
  5. I'm gonna submit Mae's MB1. One of the nicest Civic M's around, and just keeps getting better and better. http://civic5.com/forum/topic/9347-ma%C3%ABs-diamond-mb1/page-7#entry282419
  6. Sad times selling up mate, but can understand why. It's pitty they didnt do an auto 1.8 aerodeck, that would solve your problems. Although you can get an auto box for the B series engines, think it was jdm del sols that had them. GLWS, sure it wont be around long bud
  7. Looking forward to seeing the rear lip fitted mate. As said, tiger seal is really good stuff, a lot of body shops use it when fitting kits. I bought the fitting kit for the deck and for ruby..................i felt I'd just been mugged when I walked out the dealership!! lol
  8. Looking forward to the updates mate, already a cracking civic project.
  9. This is gonna be an epic build! Lots of cracking parts you got there for the build, and a really clean deck to start with. Keeping an eye on this one!
  10. Will look ace with that fitted mate, really does change the rear of them. Regarding the error, try deleting all your browser history including cookies, then close the browser and try visiting the site again. Shouldn't be any errors like that so may be duff site history stored in your browser. If it still does it, let me know via a support ticket bud. I'm not around the site much at the moment with other stuff going on but get emails about support tickets so can deal with it quicker for ya that way
  11. Sounds like a plan Simon. On my first M, the 1.4, it didn't have aircon but had a blanking plate where the aircon rad should be so maybe they do need one? Best bet is nip to local breakers and find a civic m without aircon and get the blanking plate from that, will be a straight fit.

    Still scraping...

Really strange mate, not a common problem with MeisterRs. The height looks to be around the same as my deck, and it runs perfectly fine on them. I did notice on the civic5 Crazzydawn memorial meet that it was grounding out going over this really undulating road we were all on, so at the first stop for photoshoot, I turned up the stiffness slightly. This cured it, not had any issues since. How many clicks have you got the shocks set at front and rear?
  13. looking good John and really clean! My typeR is filthy just now with all the crap weather we're having. The MGZS suspension would give a nice sensible drop in height to your mb mate, make it look even better without losing the driveability.

    Leaking roof

Sounds like the sunroof drains are blocked mate, very common problem on the civic M's. Another place that gives the same problem you're having is the seal around the front windscreen. It's bonded, but the bond breaks down through time and even the tiniest gap in the seal lets the water in, soaking the top corners of the roof lining and also the floor. Best cure if its that is to remove the trim around the outside of the screen, and silicon or tiger seal all the way around it. More expensive route is to get a new windscreen fitted. But start with the sunroof drains first mate. Have a look around the forum, there's plenty of posts on this as it is really common fault.
  15. This is one epic build mate. Really love the Focus ST's, sweet motors. Looking forward to the video!
  16. Nice find mate, a proper Nissan Micra! Hated the daft rounded one they brought out after that one. Thats a MK1 facelift? Always liked them mk1's, cracking wee cars and ripe for modding!
  17. x2! Good to see you back mate!
  18. I know the ones you are on about mate. I bought one for Ruby, and they were really top notch. Unfortunately the member is no longer active in the forum, and think that they were made through his work, so doubt it would be possible for us to get more. I'll look into it, see if I can find the member and ask if he still has the CAD. I've got two in stock (original vtis badges) but not sure if they're any better than the one you have.
  19. Ouch! Least its only cosmetic mate and easily sorted. Bloody Asda! I hate Asda!!!!
  20. Unfortunately, almost all civics suffer from rear calliper issues. The problem you describe would point to the Liston itself sticking, as you've already fixed the sliding pins. You can disassemble the entire calipper, and remove the piston too to check for wear and corrosion. If taking v the piston out, we strongly advise buying a seal kit before hand to replace the seals when you rebuild it. The handbrake mechanism is bad for seizing too, so needs to be cleaned and rebuilt, using copper grease on it to keep it moving freely. The handbrake cables themselves can also get seized or sticky inside, the only cure being new cables. Regarding the pads, deffo use copper grease on the rear of them when putting it all back together. Also remember if the calliper has been off, you'll need to bleed the brakes. Hope this helps.
  21. Congrats mate, well deserved win! I'll sort out a prize (£20 Halfords voucher and civic5 stickers) after Christmas mate, but have already got a wee gold winners trophy to send down to ya
