  1. Yeah, liked the blue but that looks so much better. Really shoes off the wheels now.
  2. That's a good result with the AEM! All the mods have given a great increase over standard power! Mega sweet!

    OBD question

Think it is an auto mate
  4. is the EML on mate? Fuel is deffo getting through? If so, sounds like it could be the ignitor in the dizzy is on the way out. That rotar does look pretty worn aswell, so may be worth getting a new one just to try to see if it makes a diff. Id still wager money on the ignitor though. I think the reason it starts after a while is that it all cools down just enough to allow it to start, then as soon as it gets heated, the ignitor fails. Costly part to replace so might be worth getting a second hand one if the new rotor/plugs dont cure it.
  5. Wow! She looks amazing mate! Is it still the original paintwork? Looks superb, and nice subtle mods too.
  6. Yes mate they should be the same. The sensors have the same length of cables and unplug up near the top of the rear suspension beam.
  7. @ammarbm Try now mate, that should be it sorted. Don't know whats going on with certain member accounts at the moment, some are needing settings tweaked. Cheers @Krzys
  8. lmao your ocd is still kicking in I see! Funnily enough, I do usually put them on a bit of lock for the photos, but today they were taken just as she was parked! lol Mental note to self.......................must take photos with wheels straight!
  9. Yeah, not had many days like this for a while! They've got the car parks at the beach all tarred now so excellent bit for photos. Only probs is they made the speed bumps higher! Glad to say she cleared them all with no scrapes at all!
  10. Not been much happening to DD lately, just been tucked up in her crib over winter. Today, she came back into duty (just for the day mind!) and did her bit for the environment.............taking a whole load of junk to the recycling centre! After 4 trips and a whole old bathroom suite, plus loads of stuff from the garage later, decided she should see a bit of scenery. So sun shining (yes, it does that sometimes in Scotland!) took her down the coast to the beach! My favourite bit of road is the coast road, twisting it's way along the sea front, so had a nice wee blast along there! Stopped off to take some photos which I'll upload in a bit, but as always she drove perfect. Man i wish summer would hurry up and come along, really miss driving her that one day of the year (yeah, think summer is on a Wednesday this year in Scotland!). Just drives so smooth, and feels like a much newer car. Also spotted another blue deck (completely standard SE model) going the opposite direction (twice, same car!) and the guy was really having a good look at DD! After a wash, she's now back in her crib! Will wait till all the salts gone from the roads and the better weather is here before she ventures out again. Photos will be up soon.
  11. Looking good mate, love the new wheel and the lights! Bummer on the welding but I think most of our M's will need welding at some point with their age now, so no biggy. Good to see how she's coming along.
  12. Bring it along mate and I can do the reset for you and pull the ABS fault code. Will be a sensor on its way out, so the code will tell us what one
  13. I know on a lot of cars Ive owned there's been a voltage regulator for headlights, so I'm assuming our M's have the same.If I remember rightly, it's on the driverside front inner wing? A small black box (please someone correct if wrong). As Krzys said, check the power getting to the bulb sockets and see if its low, if it is, could be bad earth, voltage regulator or both mate. Should be easy enough to sort though.
  14. Damn that's not good mate. New fuel tanks are really hard to find now for our civics.

    lowering MB6

Agree a nice bit of rake can give it an aggressive look. The rear being lower just doesn't look right.
  16. Do you mean extending the wheel arches outwards? Or you looking for longer/better mudflaps? There was an MB on here had plastic wheel arch extensions fitted due to wide wheels, but can't remember who's it was. Can remember it got broken for spares though. Sure he used universal wheel arches, looked OK.
