What you gonna do use ACL bearings? I'd just go to honda for head gasket and rings etc. Don't want any issues.

Yes mate the PCV valve is a check valve. I think it depends what the car is for will help decide how you go about it. If the cars a track car at WOT all the time. Remove the black box. And vent to the catch can. In my case as it spends a lot of time cruising I decided the PCV system back into the intake is probably beneficial. But then open vented the valve cover to allow for blow by. I have 4 an10 vents on valve cover, unfortunately 2 are unusable due to the design of my manifold. But should be enough ventilation for my lowish boost level. I also blocked off the stock vent hole on the back of cover just to tidy things up a bit.

Yes mate. Just vented the valve cover. The cars daily driven so figured keeping the vacuum assist for normal driving was wise.

Tonight I Put some flash band on the outerdoor skin, filled the doors with waxoyl and replaced the plastic inner bag with flash band aswell. Best thing I did on my eg stopped all the annoying rattles. Music was louder and cleaner.

I can only assume that's been put together at that spec to fill an order or something. It's a weird one for sure.

To be honest a stock b18 isn't much quicker than the d16 with VTEC. And agree with the above. Looks a really nice car mate.

Oh sweet. Has he got a thread going?? You should have a crack at it mate. I really enjoyed doing the engine bay. But i don't think I'm ready for any thing on show properly. Hmmm.. you've got me thinking now. I have a spare spoiler migh thave a go at that see how it comes out.

I've traded the painter work for work. I just paid for the paint. So not sure what it would cost normally. Hopefully going to be doing the same for the other side and the front end soon. Looks great but makes the rest look dull comparison. Hence the decision to carry on.

Ain't gonna cost 1500. My last C4 mapped on teg cams was great. Much more responsive mid range. Plus it's just what we do isn't it. Could argue it's a waste of money moding any car in any way. But Its just a hobby if nothing else.

Shame looks rough as a badgers arse now. No trims door handles etc. Replacement door is scratched everywhere. Means to an end I suppose. Get it back together next week.

Hmmm. I don't think it will hurt it if your driving sensibly. The low cam will be very similar to c4. Probably even be ok in VTEC. Just not ideal as you already know.

The steering wheel won't fit. Can get the seats to go in by altering the rails. but they make you sit quite high.
