So no way of getting the konis refurbished... They're fooked! Seriously, you'd have thought that I parked my car in a salty pond every day, the amount of rust it's had! Trying desperately to find some new ones from somewhere, but koni don't make them anymore.

I didn't, sorry. My thoughts are, that if they can legitimately get away with charging the insurance companies for something, then they would do?
-
I had mine done by autoglass through the insurance a while ago, and I've never had any issues with it.

Dropped off the mounts etc this morning. Pallet of bits for powder coating... Sounds like they enjoyed taking the bushes out... Not. Underseal is the next job. All cleaned up, and seam sealed. New plate welded in where some rust was starting. The red tinge to some of the pics is because there was a red golf parked underneath This is the GMC van I mentioned.

Some new engine / gearbox mounts as mine were guffed. Apparently 25% stiffer than OEM, but not harsh.

As for the Rimmerbros parts at different prices, I've noticed before that they list genuine rover parts, and pattern parts - could be the reason for the difference in price? As Jake says, the electrical connector will probably be different. I had to swap the connector when I use a rover windscreen wiper motor. Some tasty numbers in the background of that pic but the way

Need to get some velcro pants! Just make sure you don't wear them inside out. Can't imagine that bud To be honest though, you have built a weapon - might as well have some fun with it where it's safe(er) to. Need to find some of those rubber door panels that the Renault cactus has.

Looks like that was great fun Bet you were relieved that the bail didn't do any harm! Looks like there was some good three wheel action in that corner before the straight.

So looking to replace the drop links for the MGZS ARB on the Deck, and went to Rimmerbros as you do. They're out of stock, but using the part number on ebay brings up drop links that are also compatible with EGs. Are they the same? I always remember folk saying that the MG ones had a better design than the honda ones. MG Honda EBay
