  1. Have to say, I find this new porsche quite handsome https://www.motor1.com/news/447054/porsche-taycan-cross-turismo-spied-again/
  2. Replacement Goodridge brake hoses arrived today, so the wife dropped them down and took some photos. Seems like the extended ball joints were too much and have made the drop a bit OTT. have ordered some standard ones today to go on instead.
  3. The wheel does look good bud - I like that style of wheel anyway. Always a bonus to be able to see the dials, and also not get blinded when you're driving Back garden looks amazing mate!
  4. Getting canny excited now. They had the engine fired up this week. Said it started first time, which isn't a surprise, but still nice to hear. They said they started it with just the mani on. I said it must have sounded fruity, and the guy just grinned
  5. Hope so. It's not nailed on I don't think, but you've got to use at least two major components from the old car... Engine, gearbox, suspension, steering, or axles, along with a chassis of the same spec as the original. So it's engine and gearbox for me, with new suspension.
  6. Cheers man. Just the new wings and my old bonnet / bumper. Also thinking about colour coding the shirts, coz mine are more grey than black. Been reading back through grant's project thread today, as the guy working on it asked if it had a short shifter on, and that the headlights had a different fitting added. I couldn't remember whether grant had done the usdm mod - so after checking back, yes, short shifter, and yes usdm lights. Also jdm stalk swap which I'm also pleased about as it's the right way to be able to indicate and change gear at the same time Yeah, filled in the form for the DVLA, so will print out some pics and send it off this week.
  7. All that's left now is to finish hooking the exhaust up, fit the goodridge hoses when they arrive, fit the skunk LCAs after they've come back from the engineering company getting the bush adapted so the shock fits over it. Then it's windscreen swap, paint and done
  8. Looks like a nice one. Never driven or even been in an ep3 tbh. Even the wife's old ep1 was good to drive though. Must admit I like the k24 in the accord, but do miss the angry vtec.. I guess the k20 is a bit of both.
  9. Bah... Wish I'd found this website a few weeks ago https://www.protechshocks.co.uk/build-a-shock/
  10. Bummer thing is that the battery that's in was brand new when I drove the car last.... About a month old yuasa
  11. Well, got a call today saying that the battery was goosed, so nearly ready for starting the engine. Longest thing to wait for now is the replacement goodridge hoses, which might be 2 more weeks!
  12. Hi, I don't know whether anything has changed since this thread... I think that basically you're looking for one from an mb6, or from an MG ZS for one that will just bolt on without needing to be modified.
  13. Yeah, buys me a bit of time to find some different shocks I suppose. I like the fact the eibachs are progressive, and that's always put me off coilies. Never know, I'm getting old... Might like the more comfy ride
