  1. How did you change the bulb? Remove the stereo and get your hand up there or removed the whole dash?
  2. Looks like a good days work there. The new disc's look cool
  3. Glad to hear that Adam because I have no experience with sleeves. I don't want to completely slam it, I just want to bring the front down a tad to match with the rear height. I will only be using them purely for looks until I get myself proper coilovers. Cheers
  4. Oh sh!t... Is that the whole head off job again?
  5. The rocker cover and the front grill is such a win! Looks so cool!
  6. I really don't know how some people be such bellends. But to be honest I feel like a bellend for being soft I know sleeves have such bad reputation but I'm thinking of using the sleeves on the front EG lowering springs just so I can lower the front a tad. If no good, I will put it back to normal. I got nothing to loose because I got 2 sets of front shocks Oh yeah I will get pics up later...
  7. Yeah I should of stand up for myself but I didn't know who these people were. The way they were speaking to me, it was getting a bit out of hand... so I gave in. Oh well, I now have another spare set of good shocks. I heard a lot of bad things about sleeves but I have an idea...
  8. Oh dear... Atleast it was obvious what is the problem. Better than whipping the head off and then scratching your head wondering what is the problem... Nice Bandit. 600 or 1200?
  9. I just made a stupid mistake and feels like I been conned Quite a fair bit of writing haha Somebody I know knows another guy who breaks Honda's and I asked the bloke if he had any MB's breaking. Matey said he's got 40mm MB lowering springs on MB shocks. I thought... "that would be ideal for my car so it's level front and back. I'll have them!" So we arranged time and place, I traveled about 15 miles to pick them up and met the bloke who was with a few other people in Maccy's carpark. We had a 5 minute chat admiring our Honda's an all. Then I looked at the suspension and noticed they are sleeves on MB shocks... I said they're not lowering springs mate. I explained to him why and how they are not but the seller wasn't having any of it. I said they are not for me mate, sorry. He then have the cheek to say I have to pay him petrol money for meeting halfway?! I said "you trying to sell me something which is not what I wanted. You said they were lowering springs but they are sleeves, completely different thing" This discussion was going on for 5 minutes so I had enough and said see ya. Then his mate started having a go at me for wasting their time... I was there by myself with these 3 strangers and it almost felt like I was being threatened. Especially how they were staring at me. So me being a pansy, I bought the sleeves... It's only 40 quid but that's half of my weeks wage!
  10. I am bit of a bass fruitcake to be honest. I like that window shattering bass that makes you feel sick after I borrowed my mates MTX twin 15" subs running on a 2000w Alpine amp for a week. That was a bit too much...
  11. Looking really nice mate. And from above, it actually really does look like a standard VTi
  12. The bumper strips looking sweet! Looks very well done I wish there were 4-1 manifolds for D-series engines..
  13. Awesome! I have always been tempted to go for one of those subs. I wish I didn't sell my JBL 12" sub and amp
  14. Won't be annoying when looking at that mirror now
  15. MK3 Cortina. My favorite shape cars
  16. Sweet! I shall be ordering bulbs then I thought you have to remove all sorts before you can remove the cluster. Cheers for the how to mate
  17. Major surgery in progress! I dunno about you but I love getting stuck-in doing engine work like this
  18. That's a shame it didn't quite work out, could it be the exhaust heat shield by any chance? Is that a 4-1 or 4-2-1?
  19. Mmm... more money spending lol Ok cheers lads
  20. Right, I was washing the car earlier and noticed the rear wheels are really kicking out. Kicking out even more than the above photos. Do I need another 4 wheel alignment and camber arms? Tyre's are not going to last and probably a lot of stress on the wheel bearings I can imagine...
