    It's very nice to drive and very economical compared to the Aerodeck. First £20 petrol gave me 190 miles so I am happy with that. I might sell it though as I didn't realise this model doesn't have power steering. Also mrs want to learn Automatic only so looks like it will be X Reg micra next . I did first mod on it though as I had some cree side light bulbs.

    The engine bay was looking pretty nasty covered in dust and rocker cover had some mud on it So I covered it with degreaser and gave it a good wash. Looks good now That ugly manifold needs to go asap

    As my daily mileage has increased to around 16 miles I thought instead of adding mileage on the Aerodeck I will get another daily. Maximum budget was £400. Found this little beauty. Nissan Micra R reg K11 1.0 Litre. Its got 81K mileage with part service history. Same owner since 2001 who seem to have looked after it very well. Ideally I was looking for a Red micra but settled on this as it was too good to miss on the price I got it for . Here are some pics. I will take some more later Hope you guys like it

    Yes you are right mate it makes a big difference to the look of the engine bay. Thinking what to do next

    I got a 4-1 manifold and went to mechanic too fit it. He took the standard one off and when tried to put the new one on we realised the end was not in the right place to connect with the cat. So we thought why not remove the Air conditioning instead lol. Next on the list was Whales P***is induction kit. Makes a nice sound

    So next I started work on the strut brace I had a Honda sticker laying around so I thought that should look good and I love it Looking much better now

    Thanks @dr_broon @Grant it's not perfect but it's decent enough for a quick job @10000rpm brings the engine bay to life @Chandler Thanks mate. My theme has been purple and gold on the deck from start. This was the left over cadbury purple from calipers lol

    So here is the end result. Rocker cover sprayed Cadbury Purple with Gloss Black spark plug cover and bolts sprayed in opposite colors. Hope you guys like it Also fitted a skunk2 oil cap in matching Purple with rest of accessories Some engine bay shots. Amazing what a massive difference rocker cover makes I also washed the engine bay so it looked nice and fresh with the new changes

    After spraying the rocker cover I also sprayed the bolts so that meant more masking
