  1. Progress is a little slow tbh. Doing a house up and working etc at same time. But renewed lots of little bits and bobs. Headlight washer, Spoiler, Door seals, side repeaters, stripped and cleaned the whole interior and refinished the headliner in black suede. Refurbed the seats and fitted a momo black magic wheel. Engine pulled for inspection as well.
  2. jan 2020. Got a bit of time so thaught I'd start another project thread document my progress with my latest honda. My last civic ended up quite a machine. But unfortunately I had to make the decision to let it go to buy a house. Once got my finances back on track. I really fancied another mb6 as always had a soft spot for them. A another member offered me a clean car so went on a bit of a road trip down south to pick it up. It has just had an engine rebuild fully documented with every receipt and ran sweet as a nut was very happy with it. Unfortunately it only made it 100 miles back towards the Midlands and the bottom end developed a knock. Was pretty p**sed off tbh. But what can I do.
  3. Cheers for tag.. I should be picking up a car in couple of weeks. It's one from a user here. Looks very good in the pics I've seen.
  4. Was it a genuine cat? I'm dubious about after market. And obviously a used oem item could also have limited life span.
  5. I run mine at 0.6mm but I have a turbo. So not sure on a stock setup. Possible Closing the gap could help mask a failIng item in the ignition system?
  6. Pretty weird. Could it be that the cat is on its last legs. And replacing those parts last year just squeezed it through?
  7. Well at present it reads as tho you've called some ones car "s**t" in car of the month. And the way your harping on now, Making yourself sound a prize twat tbh.

  11. You can't change them on the m's part of the rack. Unfortunately ( since found they come off but have no flats for a tool.)
  12. Seriously tho assuming the car it's come from was in good health. A used matrix will be fine. I had to do this job myself a number of years back. Had a leak in the passenger foot well. Paid around a tenner for a used rover 45 matrix. And changed it across 2 evenings. Full dash out job.
  13. Wow copper Price through the roof. Best do a weigh in.
  14. Not to mention. They use cables to shift the gears.
