  1. If there not connected I've got a fault on the loom Somewhere. I've had the carpet up and even took fuse box out it's all fine. Must be engine side. When you let handbrake off light dims slightly but doesn't go out. I'll get to the bottom of it
  2. Dirty again now. Rained for about 2 mins after I washed the other car this morning haha.
  3. That's what I thaught too. but I have looked at wiring diagram now both bulbs are on same circuit.
  4. Bit of a spruce up today. We live up a dusty dirt road was so dirty after just a week pared on front.
  5. Yeah definitely dc2 or eg fits mb. Ep/dc5 and ek share the same.
  6. It's a generic 550x240x65. Itll be very tight but will fit. Will probably need to move the power steerng cooler.
  7. Do in odd jobs in the car. New fuel filter, thermostat and lambda as I hadn't done them previously. Due another oil change over the weekend too. Tonight started making support for Intercooler. I want to keep the fog lights on the car so the plan is to cut a section out slam panel either side for the boost pipes. And also remove the centre bar. That way the intercooler can tuck right in close to the radiator. Looking at it shouldn't even need to trim the bumper.
  8. Possibly altho. I'm positive on my last mb the lights were seperate. Wondered if anyone knows for 100 percentsure if abs fault would bring in the handbrake light.
  9. Random one. Anyone know if the handbrake (brake fault) light comes on at the same time as abs light? Reason I ask. I currently have abs disconnected and my handbrake light is on all the time. I have checked for faults in the fluid reservoir cap and handbrake switch. Both are fine. So wondering if I need to track down wiring fault or is it just because abs disconnected.
  10. It's easy enough to replace. Only bleeding the brakes afterwards can be a pain. The pump is held onto the chassis leg with few bolts. One wiring connector to come off and obviously the brake lines.
  11. Awesome man. Bit crazy but she's there now. Good power too.
  12. She made it 30 odd miles to dynodaze tonight. Great to actually be able to stand back and see the car as opposed to cooped up in garage. Love these cars for some reason.
  13. I used a k and n filter. Purely preference not because it was all that fitted. Dont think there will be a clearance issue using any slim filter like hamp or whatever.
  14. Yes that's true. I had a stage 3 6 puck clutch on my last mb6 and going in for tracking or mot was always Interesting Blokes stalling every few foot
  15. Yeah its a stage 4 or 5 (can't remember now) comp clutch and flywheel. I put an organic clutch in my last turbo civic which was lovely but used to slip if ya pulled off hard so yaknow didnt fancy risking that again. It is an oil leak yes. I think it's the 1/8 plug fitted where the turbo oil feed will be. But cannot confirm without having a proper look.
  16. Bit of a wash and hand polish today. Needs a machine polish really. But nice to give her some love. And finally.... Actually went for a little drive few miles the next village. Seems to go just fine. Smooth and no smoke that I can see. Still leaking from somewhere I need to get her up and have a look. Clutch is gonna take some getting used too. Very snatchy.
  17. It's not perfect mate has few small dints etc. But certainly not bad. Better than all others I viewed at the time. Mostly visibly rusty and quite tatty. This was maybe the 8th one I viewed.
  18. I think most of them are like This now tbh dude. Nowt new eks and egs all the same. God my last eg had some serious work done on it.
  19. Soon get it patched up I'm sure. Yes it is a problem area your right.
