  1. Can't believe you sprayed it on the drive. Fair play looks awesome.
  2. Have you not got a local parts place you can buy from? Fitting is quite straight forward. Calioer, carrier and discuss off. Cover off centre of hub. 32mm nut to remove. Pull the hub off and replace. I have had one on an Ep civic that needed some heat to get the hub off. But otherwise simple.
  3. Mine was around 195bhp with cams. Made a great difference compared to standard. Realistically on an accurate dyno. 185 is gonna be absolute max with standard cams and that will be on the limit. Someone will surely argue about that saying there cars 220bhp with standard cams. But whatever. If you put cams and dual valve springs on the exhaust side. Raise rev limit upto 9k safely. Happy days.
  4. I completely removed charcoal canister. Won't affect idle if there's no vac leaks. Agreed map is the way forward. I had really good setup with cams aswell.
  5. It's dead easy to replace mate. Just use new bolts too. Cut the old ones with a grinder or something. You'll be swearing trying to undo the old ones.
  6. Ive never experienced a problem buying hubs just make sure it's 4x114 and abs compatible for mb6/mc2. Suppose it's possible that sand has got in. Unlikely but if a seal were bad at the back side. Possibly brakes need a clean up and regrease. It might be worth jacking up and checking for play in the hub side to side to give an indication of how worn it is and also whether or not that one side is excessively hot after a drive compared to the other side
  7. Vac feed Doesn't matter. Thing is vtec is either on or off mate. So If it crosses over that's it. Where is the crossover on your mapped ecu??? Probably sound louder if vtec was further up the rev range than 4k odd. Most people have it around 5.5k now there's no iabs.
  8. I would certainly start by looking at the throttle again. When it's doing it stick your toe under the pedal and pull pedal up see if it stops. If you lubed with wd40 for example the effect would be temporary and if anything probably dissolved and grease in the cable.
  9. Tena lady could be a hi boost situation dependant on seepage
  10. Seems to me like youve got a bad piston ring Or maybe a damaged valve. No expert myself but the low compression would not solely come from a bad stem seal.
  11. Well if the rings or stem seals are gone the head will need to come off anyway so may aswell just go for it. But you can remove exhaust manifold for example and see if the exhaust valves are wet.
  12. Minor updates.. swapped a few sensors around off aerodeck so far seems to have helped with on going fueling issue. Hopefully that's that nipped in the bud. Fitted new rear brace What a pigsty! Made some brackets for the boost controller and fitted that up. Pretty excited to get back to the dyno and set it all up. Fitted button under so can change between different boost settings. So will have a low boost setting so not pushing to hard all the time. And hi boost for when someone getting on my nerves and wants to play Fitted front lip back on aswell. Looking nice!!!
  13. Bend it hit it cut it... do whatever stops it hitting the bonnet.
